Is there a centralized resource that lists all the DAOs with their legal structure status, devs involved, VCs, other people associated with it?

Why is the info / data valuable? For many many reasons, mainly legal reasons and regulatory reasons.

Sell the data to regulatory agencies, lawyers, other interested parties

Is this doxxing? Is that illegal? But if it is decentralized it is supposed to be open and transparent

Get homeschool kids to help compile the information 

Homeschool project - get students to help research all the different DAOs, figure out their legal nature, join discords etc. They could learn about the law, crypto, defi, and reading docs of these orgs including reading code.

Aspiring crypto analyst could contribute to the project.  Could even be part of the curriculum into a live bootcamp like class to become a crypto defi analyst

Could evolve into a DoNotPay like company that helps spur lawsuits for disputes within Daos

Follow up- didn't mention- Chainanalysis sort of but for DAOs - Later add legal opinions on tokens products, etc. Categorize each token, categorize big money flows, and what they offer-- sort of like an analyst opinion, just an opinion, others have other ideas. Is POS a distraction? Ethereum is still doing POW while making money or 'printing money' on their POS chain.

Why bitcoiners do not call out the Eth guys on POS as a misdirection. Why haven't they moved to POS yet?

How much energy is Eth POW using? Why no comparisons? Why don't we hear about Eth miners?

Bitcoin embraces ESG and they are playing a short term game. They will take the fall too since they don't call out Eth POW mining--it seems contradictory since they like POW, but it is not if bitcoin is going to take the blame and if you ultimately think POS isn't a viable option.

The framework has shifted from POW and bitcoin uses and wastes all this energy, to bitcoin POW uses all this renewable energy and is an ESG cheerleader.

The bitcoin people who laugh at ETH for wanting to get away from POW and go to POS are embracing bitcoin ESG for the same reason ETH wants to talk about POS all the time. They are both worried about the green movement and through their latest actions, have conceded and effectually joined them (the green movement) in a weird perverse way.

Should it be public or secret?

The OpenSea exec didn't wash trade nor did he insider trade. He did use proprietary info to profit, but didn't break any laws. If anything he was frontrunning, but so are the MEV people. Front running is the name of the game in crypto land, especially not ethereum.

People don't understand definitions of wash trading or insider trading or even front running. 

Is front running technically illegal--- no not really, maybe it violates some fidurciary duty on some people, but not if you don't have a fidurcirayr duty. 

Front running should be watched by crypto industry in particular. Watch Robinhood and what the SEC does.

The person paying for the wash trading and the platform used would all be on the hook from anyone that complains

We should be defending the OpenSea insider trader--- he should sue for defamation - because what he did was not the legal definition of insider trading and the company had no policy against his actions

Will your NFTs go up in price after you die?

A platform should compile or curate a list of NFTs whose creator has recently died.

This would be a hit for Halloween--- could be part of a special Coindesk special spooky launch.

Everyone should be able to wash trade NFTs, even poor people. Which is why there should be a service.

If you die how much will your NFTs be worth? Will they go up?

Cryptopunks were most definitely wash traded to go from free (zero dollars) to worth millions or hundreds of thousands.

If OpenSea or other NFT marketplaces are decentralized then they can't prevent wash trading. 

OpenSea has to be careful in what it says is true (meaning their UX) saying what are legit transactions.

After all all OpenSea does if they are actually decentralized is put a friendly wrapper that says which transactions happened by you telling them your wallet address.

The only person you have to worry about getting you in trouble for wash trading is a angry customer- just make them happy if they sue you for buying your NFT and not being able to sell to a new sucker. However if they are able to sell to another sucker, you are off the hook for fraud because there is someone in between the two of you, unless they go back to you for the original fraud. 

Follow up- didn't discuss- Find someone who died, but before they died they created some NFTs.... scarcity is already set. Narrative of death in play. There could be an entire platform on death NFTs. I kind of like that concept.
