  • #70 - Going Noir with Shami Stovall and Time-Marked Warlock

    Hey hey everyone!

If you don't know who Shami Stovall is, you're a bit late to the Party.

Shami has been writing LitRPG for a long time now, and she's bloody good at it. Her latest book, Time marked Warlock, I have enjoyed a crapton, not to mention her earlier work, Half-Life Empire!

She was great to talk to, and we spent a lot of time talking about how Romance is formulaic, but also why there aren't more female readers and writers of LitRPG. Seriously, I think this has been one of the most insightful episodes yet.

  • #68 - Marking Fools and Taking Names with Author J.M. Clarke!

    Hey hey, everyone!

Gosh, but it was fun to talk to JM. He writes Mark of the Fool, a wonderful story about a guy cursed with basically magic anxiety.

It's one of the few books I know where the protagonist actually goes and has therapy! 🙂

Do you like Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves? Do you like Economics?

And most importantly, do you like fun?

In that case, why aren't you reading Orconomics already? 😄

The Dark Profit Saga is hilarious, which is why Zach gets a free pass to come on the Podcast, even though his book is not quite a litrpg 😄
