John discusses how slave labor has never gone away. We just re-brand it and farm it out so that we, as Americans feel better and pay less.

The British Empire attempted to rule the world. We kicked them out of the US, but were left with their slave trading ways. Immigrants that could not afford to pay their or way, regardless of race, became indentured servants with a debt that would never be paid off.

In today’s world, we farm out our manufacturing and pharmaceuticals to countries that pay nearly nothing to their worker. That’s essentially slave labor. Big Pharma is the modern day plantation owner along with Ford, GM and FCA.

Coyotes in Mexico take money from people to smuggle them across the US border. If they don’t have the money, the people “pay it off” by working for the coyotes. Sound like indentured servitude… yep.

That’s right, we repackage, re-brand and farm out cheap labor so that we don’t have to pay as much. Guess what, that’s slavery and we are all a part of it.

We can all be a better person. Be a better you tomorrow than you were today.

We all need to accept personal responsibility and make ourselves the best humans that we can be.
