This week Pastor Kevin Donoho continues our sermon series in Genesis with the Story of Abraham. The story of Abraham and Sarah reminds us of the difficulty we may face when we are tempted to take circumstances into our own hands rather than trusting God. 

Pastor Kevin Hancock begins our new series, "Beginnings". Pastor Kevin H. takes a look at the creation stories in Genesis 1-3 and talks about How God is a relational God. God is love and God invites us into relationship with him. 

In this episode we begin with the stories of two of our Crossbridge family who come from dark places into the light of God's love. Pastor Kevin then shares this week's message with us of a God who calls each of us out of the darkness and into the light. No one is in a place that is too dark for the light of God's love to reach them. 

Pastor Kevin talks about loving the people we come in contact with, even the people who may be difficult to love. When love is difficult we trust that God can increase our capacity to love. 

Pastor Kevin talks about allowing the one who know us even better than we know ourselves to search us and know us.  God shines a light into our lives through His word and reveals the areas of our lives that are in need of His transformation. 

Pastor Kevin Donoho from Crossbridge Community Church in Ottawa Illinois talks about the 21 day challenge. Listeners are challenged to develop a habit of prayer and Bible reading. These practices are encouraged daily, not as tasks to be checked off, but as a means to deepen our relationship with God.
