Dan 9:20-23 When we talk about prayer me probably speak about it as something that is very important for Christians to do. However, if you were to really examine your life would it look like prayer is critical to your spiritual health? Why do we struggle to spend time in prayer? This week we look at the importance of prayer in the life of Daniel.

Psalm 127:3 This week we consider how to begin teaching even toddlers how to understand God's authority as we continue our study of the family.

Rom 8:31-39 Today we consider the greatness of God's love for us. However, what makes this love so great? Certainly we can point to the fact that it is from God so that makes it great, but what really illuminates the love of God is recognizing just how sinful we are. Rom 7:7-12 Rules are something we are all familiar with. We've undoubtedly all grown up with some kind of rules in place. For some that may have been a multitude of rules, and for others that may have been very few. So, what does God think about rules in the home? How should we guide our children in these matters? Daniel 9:1-19 When there's trouble we can really find ourselves in one of two places. We can either become discouraged or we can strive to be optimistic. Maybe you're the optimistic type? However, even an optimist can eventually lose heart. So, how do we remain hopeful in the midst of trouble. Daniel had an answer - prayer. This week we consider just how critical prayer is in the life of the believer.

Dan 8:1-27 Trouble can be all around us at times, can it not? We don't really like to admit it, but don't we even tend to get excited about it at times? Think about bad weather, celebrity drama, etc. We'll happily get interrupted for these reports. Without a doubt there is no shortage of this kind of "entertainment." Trouble is always all around us. So, how should we think of trouble in our world when it creates fear? We consider that question this week as we continue our series in the book of Daniel.

Mark 7:21-23 We usually don't think of babies when we think of sinners. They're cute. They're beautiful. Yet, when we look at the Word of God we come to understand that God sees the heart and the nature within it. God tells us that our sin nature is there even at our conception. So, how do we lead and direct these little sinners? We start to consider that question this week as we continue our study of the family and home.

Daniel 7:1-28 Fear and terror are generally things we avoid in life, do we not? Sure, we might occasionally seek out some thrills. However, true terror is something altogether different. In our passage today Daniel initially sees something that strikes fear into his heart.
