Have you ever felt stuck? Like you are on the precipice of something new? Have you ever known that something needs to change? When that happens you know that you need a breakthrough. And not just any breakthrough either. You need to breakthrough to God’s heart and will. We will explore Breakthrough Prayer as we look at the the life of the Prophet Daniel.

As we continue our “into the deep” series, today will uncover practical steps; or what I like to call “the 3 B’s”, of praying Bold Prayers. We see that the apostles' response to intense persecution was the catalyst that God used to bring unity, boldness & a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to His Church. I pray that after today’s message you, too, will feel empowered to pray bold prayers & live a bold life for the cause of Christ.

There is only one place in the Gospels that the disciples asked Jesus to teach them something. They asked Him to teach them how to pray. I am so happy that they asked this question. Why? Because Jesus answered it and taught the disciples how to pray. We have so much we can learn about prayer from Jesus’ profound response.

What an amazing journey we have had together. It has taken us over a year's time but we have journeyed to the end of the Revelation of Jesus. We have seen fresh insights into who Jesus is and what He is all about. And as we bring this journey to a close, there are a series of exhortations that we do not want to miss. Because God loves us enough to share them with us.

Our God is a God of redemption. God takes what is wrong and makes it right again. God takes what is old and broken down and makes all things new. In the final few chapters of Book of Revelation, we see the Lord remaking the world. We see our God restoring and rebuilding a world that has been scared by sin.

It is unfortunate that we live in a broken and sinful world. We are so used to evil that we can often hear of something horrible and not even think much about it. We are so habituated to the effects of sin that we forget that God created everything good and right. One of the most profound effects of Jesus’ return is that everything that is wrong will be made right again. And that is absolutely glorious!

Finally! The moment we have all been waiting for! As we have traveled through the Book of Revelation, we have covered so much ground. But this weekend, we finally see the visible return of Jesus. What an extraordinary moment. One that will change everything.

Stories of the battle between good and evil have always captivated people. Whether they are fairy tales or cartoons, books, or major film productions, there is always an audience for this age-old storyline. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself why that is? Ultimately, in the depth of each of our hearts, God has placed eternity there. We all long for evil to be done away with and for things to function in their created and intended fashion. As we see the destruction of Babylon in our study of the Book of Revelation, we will find ourselves one step closer to that redeemed reality.

With each passing year, we continue to seek to simply respond to Jesus. Each season brings new things. There are challenges and opportunities. There are areas where growth is needed. Jesus loves to invite us, as a church family, to participate in the work that He is doing. And we joyfully respond. Don’t miss this gathering as we look at where Jesus is leading us in this new year.
