Our mission is to simply respond to Jesus, but what does that look like practically? Keeping it simple, we respond with service and praise. Because Jesus is real and showed us that serving others was the greatest demonstration of faith and love, we respond to Him by serving others. When done by the leading of God’s Spirit, the result is that praise rises in our hearts.

Memories are powerful reminders of the goodness and faithfulness of God. When the children of Israel crossed the Jordan River, God had them erect memorial stones so that they would always remember His work and ways. The Lord knows that without these memorials, we, too, are prone to forget how mightily He has worked in our lives over the years.

This life is messy, and, unfortunately, it can also be painful. But this life is not the whole story. The Scriptures encourage us to press on and speak unequivocally of an eternal life that awaits the people of God. So, no matter what we struggle with or the trials we face on this side of eternity, we are guaranteed a beautiful future in our forever home!

Crossing over the Jordan River into the Promised Land is the great climactic event of the book of Joshua. We will look at this monumental step for the children of Israel in Chapter 3 and encounter the Lord Himself all over this event.

Fasting is one of the great spiritual practices spoken of in the Bible. And for many, fasting is elusive and challenging. It was regularly practiced in both the times of the prophet Isaiah, as well as in Jesus's time. Yet, unfortunately for many people, they completely missed the point of what God intended when He told us to fast. As we look at Isaiah 58 together, we will see that fasting was actually meant to be an act of resistance and a pathway to spiritual authenticity.

The word “Gospel” means “good news,” and it's really the greatest news of all times, which is why God began to share it long before Jesus actually walked on the earth. God’s plan of salvation through His Son was declared through the words of the prophets that began the echoes of a future time. Isaiah 61 is a remarkable example of this foretelling of the good news that would affect all of humanity. Join us as we look at how the Gospel brings life transformation for us today.

Rahab is one of the Bible’s most unique and interesting characters. It is easy to underestimate how mightily she was used by the Lord. We will learn that she is an essential part of God’s story to humanity. Although not an Israelite, God uses her to help Joshua escape death, and she ultimately becomes a part of Jesus’s family tree.
