Jonny and Amanda team up once more to celebrate the gloriously absurd music of Weird Al Yankovic. This show is a listener request, and Rob made the wonderful suggestion of focusing on Weird Al's original songs (i.e. not direct parodies). His selections are some of the funniest, most timeless pieces ever produced by Yankovic. As a happy coincidence, this music also turns out to be a lovely companion to Amanda's choice from a few episodes ago, Ween. Both artists explore a huge breadth of musical styles to present funny, intelligent material. Here's the set list:
1. Dare to Be Stupid (Dare to Be Stupid)
2. One More Minute (Dare to Be Stupid)
3. You Don't Love Me (Off the Deep End)
4. Trigger Happy (Off the Deep End)
5. Pancreas (Straight Outta Lynwood)
6. Everything You Know is Wrong (Bad Hair Day)
7. Since You've Been Gone (Bad Hair Day)
8. Your Horoscope for Today (Running With Scissors)
9. Truck Drivin' Song (Running With Scissors)
10. Hardware Store (Poodle Hat)
11. Bob (Poodle Hat)

Hey folks, and welcome to a brand new epiode of Box Office Poison! Stan Ferguson couldn't make it this time, but there was still plenty to talk about, from the dark and disturbing The Skin I Live In to a documentary about A Tribe Called Quest to Talladega Nights.
In the second segment, we discuss Jon Rind's pick for Movie of the Month, Y Tu Mama Tambien. Did we all love it, or will we meet at a cafe in one year and then never speak again? You'll have to listen to find out.
This is the last BOP of 2011, so we'd just like to thank you for another fantastic year! Episode 23, as well as our Top 5 Movies of 2011 are coming soon!
It's time for another DMP Redux. Way back on Episode 4, Jonny and Jon discussed Jeff Buckley, and now, nearly 30 episodes later, Jonny's giving the artist another look. The show starts by answering some listener mail from Adolph Vega, then we showcase a selection of studio, live, and rare recordings from the late, great Jeff Buckley. This highly influential 90s musician has one of the highest male voices you'll ever hear, and he uses it in some very interesting ways across these songs. Here is the full set list:
1. Song to No One w/ Gary Lucas (Songs to No One)
2. Dream Brother (Live at Sony Studios)
3. Lilac Wine (Grace)
4. Je N'en Connais Pas La Fin (Live at Sin-e)
5. Farewell Angelina (Live)
6. If You See Her, Say Hello (Live at Sin-e)
7. Corpus Christi Carol (Grace)
8. What Will You Say (Mystery White Boy)
9. The Way Young Lovers Do (Live at Sin-e)
Thanks for listening, folks!
It's a three-man show, folks! I had to bow out to finish moving into my new apartment, and Stan's voice took a few days off due to sickness. So Jonny, Jon and Mike stepped up to the mic and delivered a really awesome show! In the first segment, they discuss The Muppets, Hugo, Beginners and even the 80s black comedy Heathers.
In the second segment, it's the return of Trailer Trash, and the crew go over The Lorax, War Horse, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and finally The Sitter.
Thanks for listening, guys! Remember to come back in two weeks as we discuss our December Movie of the Month, Jon's pick, Y Tu Mama Tambien. And let us know your thoughts via email ([email protected]), Twitter (@crosstawk) or in the comments section on the site.
See you next time!

So you might be wondering where Episode 19 is. Technical difficulties.
You might also be wondering where the first half of Episode 20 is. Unfortunately, it suffered the same fate.
But never fear! We've got half of BOP 20, totally intact! And we're talking about our movie of the month, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. We also, very briefly, go over some of the movies we saw over the last month, including The Ides of March, Our Idiot Brother, Cyberbu//y, and even a little Deep Space 9.
Come back in two weeks for more trailer trash, and again in a month for our next Movie of the Month, Y Tu Mama Tambien!

Once again, Mike's sent me an episode of Hardcore, and once again, he neglected to TELL ME what happens in it. So here's the episode. I don't know what they talk about. I'm literally about two minutes into it as I'm writing it. So far, the following has been discussed:

4. Waitresses who smell good
Couple a'minutes. All this and more is waiting for you, so dive it, download and digest it!

A bit of a short show this time, folks. Jonny and Stan couldn't make recording, so it's just Mike Sklens, Jon Rind and myself. But we made do, with talk on Batman: Year One, The Ides of March, Paranormal Activity 3 and even some debate on Back to the Future III.
In the second segment, we dicussed our Movie of the Month: In Bruges. We'd all seen it before, and we pretty much spend the whole segment gushing about it. Next month, it's Mike's pick, and we'll be talking about Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon.
