As we look at the ascension of Jesus, we see the disciples being captivated by the wrong thing.

In our busy world, solitude can be an afterthought, pushed to the backburner. But the busier and fuller our lives become; the more solitude becomes valuable. If even Jesus regularly practiced solitude, perhaps we should give it a closer look to see what it has to offer to us.

May 10, 2023 - We can study God's word anywhere, but at church and during worship service is where God give his word and gifts to us. We’re called to present God to the people, give the gift. We encourage you to stop seeing church as an obligation, but as a privilege.

The Church serves many purposes, but the greatest of these is Jesus is present in the Church to continue the work of forgiving sin. We choose Church because

Jesus is here and offers His grace.

In our Being Challenge, we look to implement the keystone habit of Prioritizing Prayer through praying first, continually, and for each other.

The Bible is one of God’s greatest gifts to His people. It is a fount of truth and comfort. It teaches us and instructs us in the way we should go. More than anything, it points us to Jesus and the salvation we have in Him. What a joy it is to study the Word.

We often discount the influence the people around us have. When we commit to community, we commit to influencing those closest to us to be more like Jesus.

Easter is the celebration of Christ’s victory over the spiritual enemy. Because He is risen, we stand firm in face of pressures and persecution. We do not surrender because the victory is already ours in Jesus Christ.

Good Friday Sermon

April 5, 2023 - In this time many thought salvation was only for the Jews. However, the Gospel is for everyone. Even today, we have a difficult time remembering we don’t please God. It’s God who makes us pleasing- He saves us and it has nothing to do with who we are but what He has done for us. God died for everyone’s sins; even if they don’t believe it He still died for all.
