How many of us love to WAIT? 

Like waiting in the line for groceries, or at an amusement park, or waiting in the line to pick up our kids at school. How about waiting in line to pay for our car tags and...my favorite...waiting for FAST food that is NOT fast??? 

I HATE to WAIT for anything. I'm not good at it. It makes me crazy. 

Are you waiting on something? A new job. A spouse. A healing to your illness. So what do we do when we need something, but the only answer we get is to WAIT? What do we do? We're talking about that on Crud Talk.

Does your world feel out of control? Yep, ME TOO! It feels like the world is spinning faster and faster. Some days it seems like I'm barely hanging on. Is it our expectations? Is it the busyness we all feel these days? Or is it our choice? There ARE things that you and I CAN control.

Forgiveness is SUPER hard to do. I get it! I was hurt badly by an abusive mom and sold to men, who hurt me. But when we get to the place that we are able to forgive, what do we do if we can't forget what happened? Is God okay with us feeling emotions AFTER we've forgiven the person who hurt us? We're talking about FORGIVENESS CRUD and what we can do when we CAN'T FORGET.

Do you know what happens when you don't muck a barn? It gets LOADS of poop. It becomes messy, dirty and stinky. If you don't muck your barn, it leads to sickness, disease and even death. We're talking about POOP...a.k.a. CRUD.

Helping people deal with their crud is one of the hardest things I've ever done...and it absolutely makes my heart explode when I see people dealing with their crud and their lives being changed. We hear all the time, "You just do YOU!" but what does that mean? I'll tell you how I DO it.  The struggles, the pitfalls and the victories! I'm keeping it real, y'all. **Hee hee...don't I always?

Vacation Bible School is one of the most powerful tools a church has to reach their community. Crazy songs, silly games, crafts, and learning about Jesus. My team did an amazing job pouring into kids and families. Our goal was to love God and love people. Listen to what one father experienced as a result of VBS. He realized that he had some crud that he never dealt with. He saw something that he'd never seen before. He wanted that! He wanted to change.  It's amazing what happens when we deal with our crud and know that we are completely loved. 

We're talking about what it means to be SAVED. Then what? We're talking about what it means to follow Christ and doing life with your church family.
