Since our crack team of editors took so long on episode 14, we bring you our first BONUS EPISODE out of sheer guilt! We were flying high off some Twitter interaction with first ballot C2R hall-of-famer, Sinbad, so we dug up a movie neither Jeff nor Angie have seen: Houseguest. Sinbad stars alongside the late Phil Hartman, Jeffrey Jones (not OUR Jeffrey Jones) and a whole mess of sped-up film footage as a “con man” hiding from the “mob” and eating a great big pile of McDonald’s in an affluent Pennsylvania suburb.

How do we love thee, 90’s teen movies? Let us count the ways. Coming at you this week is one of the quintessential teen rom-coms of our generation: 10 Things I Hate About You. We’re taking you back to 1999 where the shoes where chunky, the skirts were mini, and the music was grungy. There’s a first time for everything: Angie finally shares a Rotten Tomatoes Fresh film! The Parent Trap starring Hayley Mills (and Hayley Mills) centers around identical twin sisters, separated at birth by their parents' divorce, who are reunited years later at a summer camp and scheme to bring their parents back together. Jeff learns where the origin of “parent trapping” comes from and Angie discovers some new favorite bits re-watching this Disney classic.

In the words of Orson Welles, who voices the giant planet-eating Unicron, the movie is about “some terrible robot toys from Japan that changed from one thing to another” and a bunch of other “bad outer space stuff.” Think Angie will love it???

Angie shares the 1995 classic, Now and Then, the story of four young girls who grow closer as friends during a pivotal summer in 1970. With the help of a killer oldies soundtrack, a couple of Black Cows, and plenty of bra stuffing discussion, Jeff gets in touch with his inner pre-teen girl. Settle in for their take on Crazy Pete, cliché childbirth scenes, how cool AF Brendan Fraser actually was, and why Rosie O’Donnell makes the ‘Now’ worth watching.
