The New Orleans Saints' quarterback battle looks to be evening out on the field, but is it tightening for the coaches? The Saints say they are "close" to making a decision between Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough and the California practices are telling a different story than those in Metairie.

Thursday's joint practice between the Saints and Los Angeles Rams could be a major proving ground for Rattler and Shough, who are both expected to see first-team reps. The Saints added a stellar UFL talent to try and help shore up the offensive line but WR Bub Means is headed to Injured Reserve.
