It’s finals week, so most all is quiet on the CU-Boulder campus. Annika Jank got another Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award, her third of the year. Hear from coach JR Payne on Jank. The men’s team will hit the court on Friday, playing Iowa in South Dakota. Hear from George King. The volleyball team finished No. 19 in the final AVCA coaches poll of the season. The lacrosse team announced its schedule on Friday.

It was a good Friday night for the basketball teams. The men’s team beat South Dakota State, 112-103 in double overtime to end a two-game slide. Hear from coach Tad Boyle and McKinley Wright, who was one rebound shy of a triple-double. Next up for the Buffs is a match-up with Iowa in Sioux Fallx, Iowa, on Friday. The women’s team used a dominant second half to pull away from Air Force, 68-43. Thursday the Buffs host Westminster (Mo.) at the Coors Events Center.

For the first time in program history the volleyball team placed two Buffs on All-America teams as Alexa Smith earned second-team honors and Brynna Delizio honorable mention by the AVCA. Both basketball teams are practicing today ahead of games tomorrow night. The men host South Dakota State and the women head to Air Force. Hear from Namon Wright. For the second time in as many nights the Buffs suffered a disappointing loss at the Events Center. This time it was the men’s team, which fell to San Diego 69-59 in a bad offensive performance. Hear from coach Tad Boyle. The men will return to the court Friday against South Dakota State. The women will also play Friday at Air Force. Taylor Kornieck played two matches over the weekend for the U-20 National Team. Skiing’s Ola Johanssen and women's basketball’s Annika Jank were named UCHealth CU Athletes of the Week.

The men’s basketball team defeated New Mexico last night at the Events Center, using a 12-3 run late in the game to pull away from the Lobos. Hear from coach Tad Boyle, who knows there’s still a lot of room for improvement. The women’s basketball team got a 70-67 win at Colorado State last night to improve to 7-1 on the season. It was a travel day for the volleyball team, headed to Lexington, Ky., for the Sweet 16. CU will take on former rival Nebraska Friday at noon. Hear from Joslyn Hayes. Middle blocker Naghede Abu was named the UCHealth CU Athlete of the Week coming off her MVP performance in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

After a 5-7 season, the staffing changes have begun with the football team. Brian Lindgren accepted a similar position at Oregon State. Darrin Chiaverini will call the plays and Klayton Adams was promoted to co-offensive coordinator and running game coordinator. Isaiah Oliver was named first-team All-Pac-12 and five other Buffs were named honorable mention. The men’s basketball team is back on the court tonight after losing to Colorado State.
