Cult Film Showdown: Enter the Octagon Archives - We Talk Podcasts

It's time to Enter the Octagon with season 11! This season, each of the guys brings 2 season themes and all 8 movies will battle it out to be the theme of season 12! The theme this episode is Animals Wearing People Clothing and the movie is Foodfight.

When the supermarket closes at night, the contents inside come to life. The shop becomes a living world for Dex Dogtective and all other creatures inside it at night time. However, with the new Brand X coming into the store, things take a turn for the worst. In other words, it's Toy Story in a grocery store mixed with a poorly rendered version of your worst nightmare.

A remake of itself (after the original version was stolen), Foodfight is an animated film like none you've ever seen before!

As always, the KFEB hosts provide ratings for the films that are based on the fun, enjoyment, and craziness of the film. These scores are tabulated and an on-going grid will keep you up to date with the search.

So sit back and enjoy the laughs as KFEB cracks open a few cans of Brand X Beer and takes a trip to the supermarket.

Bonfire has a new album out called Fistful of Fire and that seemed like a perfectly good reason to bring Ronnie Parkes back on the We Talk Music podcast.

Honestly, just about any reason to bring Ronnie back on the show it's good enough for us.  As proven in Ronnie's previous appearance promoting 2018's Temple of Lies, he's an exceptionally easy person to talk to. Any conversation with him just feels like catching up with an old friend, because that's his personality. It helps of course that he brings such candor to the interview, and that he's had so many fascinating experiences in his life.

It's Thunderfingers himself Ronnie Parkes.

So we get the update from Ronnie parks on how Covid-19 has affected him and the rest of his band including his now delayed move to Ireland. Then we move into the new album Fistful  of Fire, Including an explanation of most of the songs meanings as explained by the Bands bassist / lyricist.

Ronnie Parkes also gives us the inside scoop on how things didn't go as planned during the bonfire and Friends tour, and explains exactly how he got given the role of lyricist in the first place from band leader Hans Ziller. We also talk about Han’s search for the ever elusive perfect Bonfire album, and why Fistful of Fire may be it.

You're going to have fun with this one folks, it's a light and yet serious, funny and yet introspective chat. You can bet we're looking forward to the next time we  get Ronnie Parks back on the show.
