Brian Evans is a mad scientist when it comes to cocktails, he's developed the bars for Sunday Hospitality (Sunday in Brooklyn, Rule of Thirds and Sibling Rivalry and Pilot Bar in the Hoxton hotel in LA). We chat cocktails, life before bars traveling in a metal band, cult classic films and hidden talents. He's worked on some of the dopest projects around from Spectacular Spider Man, Tank Girl and Clerks to Grrl Scouts, one of his earlier titles which is currently being developed into an animated series. He's also collaborated on projects with MF Doom, Slug & Murs and DJ-Z-trip, just to name a few. We discuss the trials of developing a style and work flow as a younger artist and how his experiences and travels have influenced his uniquely wild style of illustration and live art over the years.

Welcome to Episode 6 weirdos! 

We hang out with Adam Dumperfoo, one of the innovators of the "Live Art" scene that you may or may not be aware of. Adam has been painting insanely intricate pieces of art, live on stage since the late 90's, using the energy of the music and the crowd to amplify the work in real time. He's travelled all over the world making work with groups like Public Enemy, Z-Trip and The Wu-Tang Clan. He's toured with the Drunken Immortals and co-created the Alpha Monster collective in and around Arizona, promoting concerts, art shows and many other creative collectives. We talk about the whole journey from sketching as a kid and b-boying at his local church to eventually painting live in front of sold out crowds and making art for hip-hop legends like Snoop Dog. He's a humble dude with a massive talent and I had a blast catching up with him about the past and his life now in Portland, Oregon. Enjoy!

Welcome to Episode 2 ya weirdos!

Had a great time catching up with Damon on this episode. We have a few drinks & laughs while we dig into what life is like in Marin County. We talk music, cars, cocktails and painting cowboy boot still life's. Damon has worked with some of the best bars and liquor brands in the world has to offer (Prime Meats, Grand Army, Extra Fancy, Brooklyn Gin) and has since moved to California where he work's as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Fernet Branca, podcast host on The Speakesy and resident shredder in the band, Brother's. We catch up on day to day life in the city of light currently on lockdown, his road to winning the Diageo Startender, bartending competition which led him to making drinks at the 2019 Oscars where he got to hang with the likes of Quentin Tarantino and was so busy he didn't realize he was serving Joaqin Phoenix until he was gone.
