Senegalese dancer and choreographer Germaine Acogny continues to inspire European choreographers. The founder of the Ecole des Sables dance school outside Dakar talks to RFI about dancing into old age following her most recent piece A un endroit du début at Paris's Théâtre des Abesses. Inspired by the tragedy of Medea, it draws heavily on Acogny's own rich, sometimes troubled, life and that of many Senegalese women.

Safari/Safarix is an exhibition for anyone who is wild about animals, has a sense of humour and isn't put off by stuffed game.

Eleven contemporary artists, revisit the Safari theme, and have a lot of fun doing it. Animal heads and bottoms poke out of walls and are some of the objects d'art which spark surprise and giggles.
