He speaks nationwide about God in Government, apologetics, prophecy, and Biblical Worldview issues. Paul serves on the Board of Directors for Bott Radio, and the Oklahoma Apologetics Alliance.

Paul Blair was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1986 playing under Coach Mike Ditka and alongside Hall of Famers Walter Payton, Dan Hampton, and Mike Singletary. At the age of 37, Paul Blair was called into full-time ministry. His passion is for the salvation of souls and also the restoration of Godly morality and decency in America. 

In 2008, Pastor Blair was one of the original 33 pastors that worked with the Alliance Defense Fund on Pulpit Freedom Sunday challenging the constitutionality of the 1954 Johnson Amendment. The number of pastors participating has increased every year since with over 1600 participating in 2012. Following the 2012 Pulpit Freedom Sunday, the IRS admitted that churches are tax exempt and do not require approval or a letter of exemption from the IRS.

James Spencer, President of the D.L. Moody Center, talks to Mary Danielsen about balancing politics with the Great Commission and what it means to find our identity in Christ. More and more, Christians are allowing politics to shape their worldview and the practices of the church, causing divisions among the brethren. There may come a time that we need to ask ourselves if we have become disciples of a particular political tribe rather than disciples of Christ – at the very least measurable in the amount of time we spend on either.

In his thoughtful article, “Render to God what is God’s: Reflecting Christ in Politics”, James says, “When God’s people take up causes, we run the risk of those causes distorting our vision of God. We run the risk of justifying our pursuit of the cause by making the cause an idol and tying God to it. When this happens, we no longer act as if we believe that His ways are beyond our ways, or that His thoughts are beyond our thoughts. God conforms to us. We then determine how the problems we face must be solved and God no longer directs. We also look at a recent statement by the National Evangelical Association supporting the LGBTQ movement in its special rights under the guise of “equality.”

In our first segment, we talk with Art Ally of The Timothy Plan to discuss biblical generosity and how the money Christians invest in corporations and stocks is being used to either glorify God or support those who oppose biblical Christian values.

Evangelical groups hop on LGBTQ bandwagon

As reported by World magazine, “(CCCU and NAE) have formally endorsed principles that would add sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) to federal nondiscrimination law.” The U.S. Pastor Council, a growing inter-racial, inter-denominational network of local Pastor Councils that was founded and grew from the flagship Houston Area Pastor Council (the team that led the defeat of lesbian former Mayor Annise Parker’s pro-LGBTQ “Equal Rights Ordinance” in 2015) is calling out the NAE and CCCU for this indefensible act of yielding moral truth for perceived temporary protections.
