We are back with a brand new episode and this week I am blessed to have had a super inspirational conversation with Mark Brazil from Ikonick about entrepreneurship & focusing on what it is you love to do in life.
Mark is an incredible entrepreneur with true grit & determination that has enabled him to grow an extremely large business in the art world.
Mark & his business partner Jeff saw an open space in the art market that was underserved and really made it their own with their unique brand Ikonick.
IKONICK is a Los Angeles brand putting a new spin on the business of inspiring others through art. Embodying popular culture, our exclusive collections exist to motivate in a way that’s entirely our own. Whether you’re working out of a cubicle or hustling with an ocean view, we’ve created hundreds of pieces to motivate you through your mornings, days, and nights.
Fed up with the dead-end jobs that were going nowhere, we felt our ambition draining away at our desks, so we decided to leave it all behind and set out to create something that would inspire ourselves and others to chase those ambitions.
Started as a passion project in 2016, IKONICK is now one of the fastest growing digital art companies in the world. Our artwork displays in thousands of homes and offices spaces. We partnered up with entrepreneurial icons Gary Vaynerchuk and Scooter Braun, and earned licensing rights for the NBA, Muhammad Ali, Marilyn Monroe, and many others. We are dedicated to producing affordable high-quality canvas art that’s guaranteed to make you sit up straight, put your head down and go follow your passion.

We are back with a new episode & this week I am blessed to have had an extremely important & educational conversation about food inequality with Olympia Auset
Olympia is an incredibly hard working & inspiring human at the forefront of changing food insecurity in food desert areas of Los Angeles.
She is relentless in her mission to eradicate food inequality so that healthy nutritious food can be available to anyone in lower income areas.
Her passion to help people be better versions of themselves just by providing them an equal opportunity through the food they eat is a shining guide we can all follow.
This conversation was recorded last year and since then, Olympia is now very close to opening the organic grocery store SUPRMARKT in south central LA but can always use your help so please check out @supr.mrkt
In 2016, Olympia started SÜPRMARKT to eliminate food deserts. A vegan of 12 years, she grew tired of traveling hours by bus each time she needed fresh, healthy food. Having grown up in neighborhoods across Los Angeles, Olympia is very familiar with the differences in creativity, potential, and happiness that accompany differing socio-economic landscapes, and she is steadfast in her commitment to creating infrastructure for a better Earth.
Her work has been covered by publications like the LA Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Complex, SXSW, USA Today, Forbes, and in the documentary Meat Me Halfway. In 2020, Olympia was named a Create & Cultivate Changemaker, and she has previously received certificates of Presidential and Congressional recognition for her service. She is a former Co-Opportunity Market board member, a GRID110 – PledgeLA cohort graduate, and a Howard University Alum.
Olympia was featured by Wanderlust and Huffington Post for “Give Three Gifts,” a video about innovative kindness. In 2015, she initiated the creation of the 100 ft. “Let’s Be Good To Each Other” mural at 54th/ Crenshaw in Los Angeles, and is actively engaged in birthing experiences, gatherings, and gifts to LA which make earth a better place to live.

Daniel is a true inspiration, not just as an incredible entrepreneur & business owner but also as a shining light of positivity.
Daniel has grown a thriving business from the ground up and has always kept helping others through positivity at the for front of everything that he does.
It is possible to grow a business that cares & gives back and what Daniel has built with his brand Rastaclat is a shining example of this.
Daniel has a natural attunement for vision & leadership with the business acumen to execute branding, partnerships, international distribution, eCommerce, and retail distribution to name a few. We are back with a new episode & this week I am blessed to have a conversation with dietitian nutritionist, Ilana Muhlstein.
It consistently blows my mind how hard working Ilana is and her determination to help others reframe their mindsets around food for the better.
Ilana went through so much growing up with a dysfunctional relationship with food, which I truly relate to myself having similar issues with my mindset around food & health from when I was young through a lot of my life.
So it inspires me to see that Ilana faced her insecurities head on, learned from it and has been able to build a thriving business around helping others at the forefront to do the same.
Over the years, Dietitian Nutritionist, Educator, Published Author, Mom and Health Enthusiast Ilana Muhlstein M.S., R.D.N. has become a sought-after weight loss expert. Ilana is an acclaimed public speaker and influencer and sits on the prestigious Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association. She has been lecturing for the Bruin Health Improvement Program at UCLA since 2013 and is a contributing writer for distinguished publications including The Journal of Obesity, and has been featured in the LA Times, The Washington Post, Reader’s Digest, SHAPE, Health and Women’s Health.
By the time Ilana was 13 years old, she weighed over 200 pounds and struggled with losing weight, emotional eating and diets that didn’t work. While most kids dream of becoming pop stars or famous athletes, Ilana's early inspirations were the knowledgeable registered dietitians she met every summer at fat camp. She became one herself the first chance she got and used everything she learned to lose 100 pounds. Since then, she's built a thriving private practice in Beverly Hills and helped hundreds of people lose weight happily--and keep it off.
There is a lot to take in from this episode & I know there are takeaways for everyone listening.

Liz consistently inspires me and thousands of others with her calm, loving presence, her work ethic and her vision to help people through Wordaful.
During this conversation Liz guides us through the ways we can help ourselves to grow by being more mindful about the words we use on ourselves and others.
'Liz is a Mexican American Emmy-nominated television personality and journalist.
As a former radio host and entertainment reporter for Access Hollywood, E! Through WORDAFUL Liz has created a new form of storytelling that will encourage and connect us to the power of words. We can create new realities for ourselves by changing our internal and external dialogue, ones that support more meaningful relationships and lives.
