Me and wearing anything wool… it used to be a complete allergic reaction nightmare - Itchy ears, runny nose, the works. Not pretty!

A few episodes back on Curious B, I shared with Laurie how this happened during my Reiki Masters training — we were laying wool blankets over each other, and there I was trying to give and receive Reiki with a streaming nose. Not exactly ideal!

In our last conversation, Laurie said: “My guides are telling me what that is” — and then left me hanging.

I had no idea that the answer would connect all the way back to my traumatic birth. When Laurie later sent me her Energetic Allergy healing meditation, it rewrote my birth story in ways I could never have imagined. The healing was so huge, so life-changing, that for the first time I could wear my grandmother’s hand-knitted wool jacket, something I never thought possible.

This is a very special, deeply personal episode. A story of birth trauma healing, spiritual guidance and energy medicine. I can’t wait for you to hear it.

A bit of a personal reflection on my transformation.

Oh what a journey from so burned out to being in the simply magical place overlooking the ocean.

There is just no way I would be here if I hadn’t of followed my soul, every day – ‘just guide me, just guide me’. 

To have had my son the night before he left for Auzzie reflect back the impact this shift has had on him literally brought me to tears. 

It’s so important, especially us midlife mums to connect with our passions and create a life and a busness that puts us first.
