The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate will undertake a 72-hour operation which will begin on Monday, 24 June, until Wednesday, 26 June to do essential maintenance to its water supply network on the Cape Flats. This will result in several areas having no water during this period. The work that needs to be done will ensure that the City’s pipe infrastructure is in the best possible condition for years to come. To give us mor details about this temporary water shutdown, we’re joined by Melikhaya Zagagana, our EWN Reporter.
