At least seven people have reportedly lost their lives in the Eastern Cape floods over the weekend while an estimate of 1200 people have been displaced. The affected areas include Nelson Mandela Bay, Buffalo City and Kariega. Rescue operations are ongoing and the Gift of the Givers has stepped in to assist.
