When living under grey skies for multiple days, it can be difficult to gather motivation. Time seems to blend more fluidly, and one can lose their sense of place. It will pass, but in the meantime, try to enjoy meandring with no particular destination. Sometimes you find great things by having no intetion of looking for them.

Today's episode uses the Korg Volca Keys synthesizer, a Memory Man pedal from Electro-Harmonix, and the Korg Wavedrum.

Another mid-week break!

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win.

Be inspired to reach your goals. Many people will tell you that you have to do things a certain way, but more than likely they can't see. Right way, wrong way - just decide on your way.

Honestly, when I started today's episode I assumed there would be more acoustic elements then there ended up being throughout this half hour. That's the nature of this project - I start in a direction and find the path that leads to the end. As long as I am having fun while recording, I allow myself to be pushed toward where the music wants to go.

It is my goal this week to concentrate on guitar and other stringed instruments. I find them to be the most challenging to record, so they often are not the place where I start a piece of music. We'll see where this path leads...

Time for the weekend. This one is a tangle, a tumble. It tosses and turns.

Coco Chanel said, “Hard times arouse an instinctive desire for authenticity.” When you feel the weight of life on your shoulders, do you find honesty is a comfort? Acknowledging the situation at hand can be daunting, but once you turn the light on, the shadows recede and things that things that scare you don't seem so scary afterall.
