Proposed changes to music curriculum in Grades 7-9 may be on pause... but music educators are still busy making their case to government to keep music mandatory. We sit down in the On The Go studio with two former teachers in the school system: a professor emerita of Music Education at MUN who has just been awarded the Order of NL for her work in music education, and a retired professor of Music Education who was also music consultant for the Department of Education in curriculum for many years.
