"Christ, the one Mediator, established and continually sustains here on earth His holy Church, the community of faith, hope and charity, as an entity with visible delineation through which He communicated truth and grace to all. But, the society structured with hierarchical organs and the Mystical Body of Christ, are not to be considered as two realities, nor are the visible assembly and the spiritual community, nor the earthly Church and the Church enriched with heavenly things; rather they form one complex reality which coalesces from a divine and a human element. For this reason, by no weak analogy, it is compared to the mystery of the incarnate Word. As the assumed nature inseparably united to Him, serves the divine Word as a living organ of salvation, so, in a similar way, does the visible social structure of the Church serve the Spirit of Christ, who vivifies it, in the building up of the body. This is the one Church of Christ which in the Creed is professed as one, holy, catholic and apostolic, which our Saviour, after His Resurrection, commissioned Peter to shepherd, and him and the other apostles to extend and direct with authority, which He erected for all ages as "the pillar and mainstay of the truth". This Church constituted and organized in the world as a society, subsists in the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him, although many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside of its visible structure. These elements, as gifts belonging to the Church of Christ, are forces impelling toward catholic unity." (Lumen Gentium)https://tinyurl.com/3wxff

Thoth and I discussed cosmology, the nature and reality of political and religious authority, and, indirectly, theodicy, or the problem of evil. There is much unresolved philosophical tension between us, but it was nice to chat with my old friend, nonetheless.

Eli Danze is a cradle Catholic who was born and raised in Texas where he currently lives with his wife and six children. He is the creator and host of the Boni + Bella podcast in which Eli encourages us all to “Be Kind! Do Good! You are Beautiful!”

Steve founded Freedom Coaching, where he mentors clients one-on-one to break free permanently from a compulsion to pornography. From 2014 to 2015, he was the Director for Covenant of Love, the Alexander House program for strengthening marriages .on the parish level.

Scott Smith is a Catholic author and speaker that helps faithful but overwhelmed Catholics understand the richness of the Faith, so they can light the world on fire, starting with their own friends and families.

I met Athena through her boyfriend, my friend Russell whom I also interviewed that same evening at their apartment in Montreal. She was raised culturally Jewish but has been doing Yoga since she was about ten years old. We mostly talked about sex and morality and life and death.

I have been friends with Russell for about a decade now. He is a sweet guy, and one of the few friends with whom I can discuss almost anything--even religion. In this chat we discuss, sex, death, free-will, and the first-cause proof of God's existence.

I met Minh Ho at a Christian Meetup group about two years ago. At first I had no idea he was Catholic, but I have been enjoying getting to know him and discovering his unique approach to Bible Study, particularly as concerns the Torah, or the first five books of the Old Testament.

I met Christopher on his YouTube channel. He is a fine young man who served 4 years in Korea and was raised in a Catholic military family. Chris started the "Task Force 75" project to aid Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria in 2017.
