Impromptu Meditations on the Word of God

I met Jana through Ben. She studied religion, but worked in television. She became a therapist after doing group-therapy as a research project for the "Being Erica" TV show, which Jana created and wrote. She is culturally Jewish, but identifies as a hedonist. It was a real pleasure chatting with her.

It's been more than a year since Ben's first interview, so I reached out to do part 2. We talked mostly about Jordan Peterson's ideas and how they relate to recent developments in the Unitarian Universalist (UU) world.

I met Shaun through his younger brother Dylan Maxwell, whom I interviewed in 2016. Shaun is an affable family man. He earned both his Masters degree and his Ph.D in Philosophy, with an emphasis on the nature of consciousness. He is currently writing a book on the Freedom of the Will.

I met Jerry on Facebook, through my friend and recent guest, Thoth. Jerry lives in Taiwan with his wife and their 14-year-old twin boys. He describes himself as a non-Denominational Christian, but has some Calvinist leanings. I forgot to ask him about free will. Next time, perhaps.

Maggie has worked with fellow Sedevacantist Stephen Heiner, whom I interviewed recently. She is busy wife and mother, a published indie author, and she also moderates a group on FB called Catholics Against Modernism. I enjoyed our chat.

I met Mitch on Facebook where I was drawn to his sharp and abrasive communication style. He was raised in a secular Jewish home, and considers himself agnostic. I like to think of Mitch as a cute kitten with sharp little claws.

Pope Michael was elected by a small group of people who had come to believe that the Catholic Church has seceded from the Catholic faith with Vatican II, and that there have been no legitimate Novus Ordo Popes since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958.

I met Zvi Leve through Facebook. He is a secular Jew. His interests relate to trying to understand how people interact with their built environment and the role of technology in shaping behaviour. For fun he likes arguing with libertarians. I enjoyed our lively chat.

Antonio is the third person I have interviewed as a result of my group-email to the websites listed on the Wiki page on Sedevacantism. He runs the sedevacantist.uk website. We spoke about his winding journey into the Catholic Church, and, ultimately, into Sedevacantism.
