  • Heavens Invasion

    This is Pentecost Sunday!

-Today's message is about Authority and Power and where it comes from, and what we can do about it.

Matt 3:11 “I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

    Power and Authority

    -Authority is from Jesus

-Our power should come from the Holy Spirit

    Lev 23

    You shall count for yourselves

Count 50 days after the sabbath

    Jn 14

Jesus -This is imperative for you that I go and the Holy Spirit comes

    Zeph 3:9

I will restore them with one language to a pure language

    Is 28:11

With stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to his people

    One accord

    Acts 19:6

-this event happens 24 years after Pentecost

The Holy Spirit came upon them

Paul asked if they had been baptized..They said we were baptized with John’s baptism

Paul told them that was the baptism of repentance

Suddenly the Holy Spirit descended on them and began to speak in other tongues

40 days Jesus showed himself to many after his resurrection

10 days the 120 huddled together in the Jerusalem upper room waiting for they didn’t know what to expect

    50 days total

Matt 24:14 ―And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come

    Gospel of the kingdom

After he preached the Kingdom, He healed all kinds of sickness and diseases

Where the gospel of the Kingdom of God is preached, then the healing and miracles come

One difference between nurseries and a graveyard

One has order the other has life

  • The Measured Life

    The Measured Life

    Provision or Promise?

    Romans 2:4

Maybe this should be our prayer

    Pray this:

Lord make me a vessel, so I can be used as an instrument 🎷 🎻 🎺 with the anointing to break yokes of bondage

Mostly if we’re honest, we want to pray for God to equip us before the battle..maybe so we think we know how to win..?

God is looking to equip you during the battle. So which one is more of faith? -Yeah

    -Fear can masquerade as wisdom

God is not always looking for our correctness

    Numbers 13:2

-The 12 spies relied on wisdom… all 12 of them were correct

God only considered only 2 spies a good report

    2Kings 13 Elisha

The measure -King tapping his arrow on the ground only 3 times.

    Mark 4The measure

    Matthew 7:2

    A Measure is:

-We are given a just a limited portion of a much greater standard

We set the standard ourselves for our blessing

-When we apply the enthusiasm..that is where our measure is

-By the measure WE say yes is tied to our promises that God wants to pour out on us

When God asks us to do more he wants to pour out more blessings on those who do

Fear keeps you out of the promise

    Fear interferes with your assignment

Fear can masquerade itself as wisdom

-One minister said, “To live cautiously your friends might call you prudent and wise -but you wont move any mountains”.

My portion is the life of following Christ came for…with greater promise

Not even Jesus could do it on His own

-Jesus entrusted His life totally to God the father in His death. The Father sent the Holy Spirit to raise Him

    Romans 8:11

    Romans 2:4

The goodness of God leads you to repentance.. is Gods plan A….hellfire and brimstone preaching is plan B. Usually reversed..why? Do we really believe

  • The Seed Form Blessing

Our lack usually is tied to lack of preparation

The answers to our prayers sometimes many time don’t come in the way we want them

Our answers usually come in seed form

    Mark 4

Are we willing to prepare ourselves for the answer

The sower sows the word (is the seed)

Persecution and tribulation comes because of the words sake

    1kings 18 Elisha and Ahab

Get excited about the small things you see…small manifestation..is this the seed you should be looking for?

  • Unveiled Realities

    Ephesus

The word “Revelation” means lifting or tearing the veil

-Gifts are free, maturity is expensive

Prayer changes the conditions on the decisions God makes for you

Elisha asked the Lord to show the man more be with us than them

    2 COR 3:4-18

When we come into His presence He lifts away the veil.

    Consider this:

When I get to go to church, as a privilege, -this adds to my life in ways that couldn’t by design any other way.

When I get involved in the process of someone that gets changed and transformed, I get blessed

Heb 10:20 The tearing of Jesus flesh as the veil.

When the veil was rent the revelation of God was poured out to the entire world. The Jew being the first.

    Eph 1:16-17

Paul's prayer that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of glory, my give to the the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

  • Repositioning Yourself for Transformation

Transformation doesn’t always happen on the outside as much as happens on the inside

Often God doesn’t want to destroy people as much as He wants to restore people through repentance. So the people of Nineveh had repented. They changed their mindset. Can we change our thinking so God can work something good through us? So is it all about God and His sovereignty? It’s also about you/us. Co-laboring. Ultimately, who you are first and then what you do second.

Jonah had a difficult time with this. He wanted his enemies (Nineveh and the Assyrians) destroyed. He knew God was merciful. And God was merciful to the Assyrians. God caused peace to be with Israel by ministering a word of the Lord that did not include repentance from Jonah. Evidently the Assyrians knew how to repent perhaps without being told.

The ones who Jonah ministered to went to heaven, and will rise up in judgement against those who chose to be part of an evil generation. When and where the Word of God was ministered.

God has a wonderful plan for your life. We urge you to choose life

    Be Blessed

  • The Significance of Blessing

2Cor1:20 for no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “amen? Is spoken by us to the glory of God.

    The Significance of Blessing

The Amen is spoken by us as the promise

“Blessed” is to invoke a prosperity upon you

The blessings enable the promises. The “amen” is your agreement to pursue the promise assured by the blessing. The blessing is to increase your prosperity to establish His kingdom

The blessings of God are conditional, if we’re able to walk in the way God wants us to.

If the blessings of God are conditional, how we receive the blessing and react to it is the key to prosperity

The purpose of blessing is prosperity.

How you handle prosperity determines many things.

So what are the keys to prosperity?

Additional work usually is the result of blessing

    This brings glory to God

    504 times KJV references blessings

The idea of blessing is to invoke a benediction to impart blessing upon the favored of God to bestow prosperity

-The blessings of God often breed entitlement in God’s people if they don’t remain humble and practice discipline

Mount of Olives blessing at His ascension

Jesus blessed them to go forth and make disciples

So is the main emphasis for prosperity seeking the presence of God?

  • God's Redemptive Solution

    Happy Resurrection Day!

-This is another non-traditional message derived from blood covenant teaching that doesn't fit the norm and is not often understood

    Numbers 19:4

    Leviticus 16:14

7 times the priest was to dip the blood on the mercy seat

7 times Jesus shed blood from different parts of His body

Ps 31:5 Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth. ... To you I have committed my spirit, and you have saved me, LORD JEHOVAH

    Have a blessed day!

  • Expectation of Blessing

    Palm Sunday

The taking of the donkey, was the sign of approval from the Father

Jeremiah 31:38 The Temple will be rebuilt for the Lord

It is not at our discretion to choose what we want

You get blessed according to your account..according to what you can handle

Our maturity will determine how God will bless us

If you need more then mature more

God did not give Joshua all the land at once

Take on more responsibility as God puts on you

  • Kingdom Priority

-Is the kingdom of God your first priority? Today's message is meat for the church disciples ..-Miracles can change a city

    Matt 11:20-24

-If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then surely the kingdom of God has come upon you

Luke 11:20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Exodus 8:18 after pharaoh's magicians threw down the snakes next to Moses, they said…”surely this was done by the finger of God”.

Matt 11:21-23 Woe unto you Bethsaida and Corazin

Jesus did the most miracles in theses cities

21“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.

23And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. e For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.

-Today's Revelation: Miracles can change a city

Jesus said, Tyre and Sidon would have repented if they had the same kind of miracles performed for them
