If we do not have a renewed mind we are at enmity with God (Rom8:7)

Wisdom is from here or from above which one do you have?

In the Garden of Eden

God gave Adam and Eve the purpose to “subdue” the earth

Adams purpose: To extend the boundaries to the entire planet until it becomes under God’s Dominion

Meaning of "Subdue":

In the Greek stir up the key to Subdue an Open Heaven

-to provoke, wake up, arouse, render active, activate

Speaking in Tongues is meant in part to “stir you up”

Stirring yourself up is part of subduing your dominion on earth

We’re usually looking for God  only to comfort to us

-We cannot justify unbelief because of fear or disappointment

It does not change God's mandate just because of or due to our failures

Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven is not found in the Old Testament

John6:63 the words become spirit the reality of the kingdom becomes present

God would come to the earth in the cool of the day to visit and openly fellowship with Adam and Eve. That changed after they sinned. The heavens closed after that. 2nd heaven blocked the 3rd

Matt6:10 Thy kingdom come they will be done on earth as it is in heaven

Our ability to learn and recieve God's ways, His will, and His Word will be done under an open heaven

The Israelites only saw the deeds of God but never knew his ways

-When you say “Amen” -you are yielding to a co-laboring partnership role

He’s going to make known his ways to this church

Two baptisms Red Sea and Jordan River the promise was on the other side of the 2nd crossing - 2nd baptism (yes two baptisms)

Paul talked about being baptized into Moses (1Cor10:2)

Circumcision of heart 1st baptism - crossing the Red Sea

Out of your heart flows rivers of living waters - 2nd baptism crossing the River Jordan

-A 2nd circumcision also took place after the jordan crossing. Prosperity occurred after they entered the promised land. Manna ceased after they ate from the first planted crops, from then on manna ceased

The manna stopped Joshua 5:12 right after they ate from the first crop of the land

Hanna's persistent prayers

Get in line with God with what he wants

Hanna prayed to receive a son. God wanted a prophet. Hannas prayer was granted

God is moving us from our mundane attitudes to moving into more than we have and are now

What if we start lifting people up instead of continually stomping them down for what they are not?

What would our church look like?

2 Kings 20 Hezekiah looked at the House of God as the answer not the problem

Isaiah told Hezekiah in 3 days to go show himself to the temple

His boil was infectious and evidently deadly

Hezekiah tried to pay a ransom to Sennacherib so he’d leave him alone

Hezekiah striped the gold off the pillars of the temple to pay Sennacherib

Same temple Isaiah told him to show himself 

But Sennacherib reneged

God told the prophet Isaiah this battle belongs to the Lord because Sennacherib cursed God directly. God said this one's mine. So Go sent an angel and killed 185,000 Assyrians and Sennacherib's two sons killed after he returned

Ps 78:5-6 For he shall establish a law in Jacob. Tell your children so that in every generation that they may set their hope in God and keep his commandments

Testimony means do it again. Why? so others can gain the encouragement and the strength they need to have God do the same for them

2Cor10:6

The weapons of our warfare are mighty to the pulling down strongholds

-Strongholds can be either good or bad and are reasons or excuses we make for justifying our lifestyles

Paul was responding in the defense of Defending his ministry

False Apostles had come in to sow in a bunch of discord in his ministry

-Every excuse we have builds a stronghold

-What is God's Redemptive solution for Key West?

-God is very unreasonable

-Certainly he expects for us to believe the impossible

-Your circumstance may have changed but God's idea about you hasn’t changed

-The world does not owe you encouragement, and they won’t give it to you
