2Cor4:16-17 The  Weight of His Glory

Weight is abundance or authority

-Or burden

Man’s perception of scripture, in this case you choose. Is it abundance or burden?

"Glory"

Dignity honor and worship

"Weight"

It can mean Abundance and authority

or it can be a Loaded burden, or heavy

-For our light afflictions

Moment

This instant immediately for a second, an instance

We live in two realities at the same time

The awful here and now (in the natural), and (through renewing our minds) determining our destiny happening now for eternity

Paul was able to sail through life even though life was giving him the business

Are we able to determine if 

Is it God’s opportunity for abundance

Or is it a pain or a burden?

3 things we should be teaching our children

Identity 

Purpose

Destiny

Who they are

Why they’re alive

Where they’re going

God’s intended impact for they’re life

"Sozo" means prosperity and healing in our salvation

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is a at hand

Change the way you think for the kingdom of God is within your reach

Col 3:2

Set your minds on things above, not on things of this earth

King David, set out to build a house for God

And when you rest with your fathers

Let’s start looking at heavenly things above instead of the the worldly things that cause stumbling into the kingdom

We are to be, “A new creation that never before existed” 2Cor5:17

In the Garden of Eden

God gave Adam and Eve the purpose to “subdue” the earth

Gen 28:17 

Adams purpose: To extend the boundaries to the entire planet until it becomes under God’s Dominion

Meaning of "Subdue":

In the Greek stir up the key to Subdue an Open Heaven

-to provoke, wake up, arouse, render active, activate

Speaking in Tongues is meant in part to “stir you up”

Stirring yourself up is part of subduing your dominion on earth

We’re usually looking for God  only to comfort to us

-We cannot justify unbelief because of fear or disappointment

It does not change God's mandate just because of or due to our failures

The focus for today's message is making a pathway from our house to God's House.

This is actually found with Solomon where he did this

2Chron9:11 King made of Algum trees to make a pathway from his house to Gods house

We have been created in the image and the likeness of God

Jesus said, If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God which is heaven, then the kingdom of God is at hand for you.

Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven is not found in the Old Testament

John6:63 the words become spirit the reality of the kingdom becomes present

God would come to the earth in the cool of the day to visit and openly fellowship with Adam and Eve. That changed after they sinned. The heavens closed after that. 2nd heaven blocked the 3rd

Matt6:10 Thy kingdom come they will be done on earth as it is in heaven

God's Soverinty two words

1st word “Bulimia ” (sp) God is going to do this regardless whether you like it or not; this is going to happen no matter what you say think or do

2nd word “Thelema” (sp) Gods desire 

Same word that opened heaven, split boulders in two, and rent the temple veil in two (top to bottom)

There comes a time and place where 

The devil has little or nothing to do with your life

Starts with 

Matt12:10 surely if I cast out demons by the spirit of God, the kingdom of God has come unto you

If you’re risen with Christ set your mind on things above

Do you have Impossible tasks to complete?

Good chance you may be right where Jesus wants you

Our ability to do the greater works is the same as Jesus under open heaven

One of the keys as Peter discovered was "Boldness"

Jesus never pandered to the devil. Only concerned Himself with His Fathers will

Open heaven occurs at least 14 times in the bible (Old and New Test)

Our ability to learn and recieve God's ways, His will, and His Word will be done under an open heaven

What God’s about to do next

Ps 103:7 

7He made known His ways to Moses,

His deeds to the sons of Israel.

The Israelites only saw the deeds of God but never knew his ways

-When you say “Amen” -you are yielding to a co-laboring partnership role

He’s going to make known his ways to this church

Two baptisms Red Sea and Jordan River the promise was on the other side of the 2nd crossing - 2nd baptism (yes two baptisms)

Paul talked about being baptized into Moses (1Cor10:2)

Circumcision of heart 1st baptism - crossing the Red Sea

Out of your heart flows rivers of living waters - 2nd baptism crossing the River Jordan

-A 2nd circumcision also took place after the jordan crossing. Prosperity occurred after they entered the promised land. Manna ceased after they ate from the first planted crops, from then on manna ceased

The manna stopped Joshua 5:12 right after they ate from the first crop of the land

Hanna's persistent prayers

Get in line with God with what he wants

Hanna prayed to receive a son. God wanted a prophet. Hannas prayer was granted

God is moving us from our mundane attitudes to moving into more than we have and are now

What if we start lifting people up instead of continually stomping them down for what they are not?

What would our church look like?

Finally,

Do this everyday and your life will change. Your persistent Hanna prayer will come in-line with God

Rejoice always

Pray without ceasing

Jesus testimony of healing, healing by the spirit of God

2 Kings 20 Hezekiah looked at the House of God as the answer not the problem

Give testimonies so your word lines up with Jesus in every area so that you are overcoming and successful

Let’s testify Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever

Isaiah told Hezekiah in 3 days to go show himself to the temple

His boil was infectious and evidently deadly

Hezekiah tried to pay a ransom to Sennacherib so he’d leave him alone

Hezekiah striped the gold off the pillars of the temple to pay Sennacherib

Same temple Isaiah told him to show himself 

But Sennacherib reneged

God told the prophet Isaiah this battle belongs to the Lord because Sennacherib cursed God directly. God said this one's mine. So Go sent an angel and killed 185,000 Assyrians and Sennacherib's two sons killed after he returned

Ps 78:5-6 For he shall establish a law in Jacob. Tell your children so that in every generation that they may set their hope in God and keep his commandments

Testimony means do it again. Why? so others can gain the encouragement and the strength they need to have God do the same for them

2Cor10:6

The weapons of our warfare are mighty to the pulling down strongholds

-Strongholds can be either good or bad and are reasons or excuses we make for justifying our lifestyles

Paul was responding in the defense of Defending his ministry

False Apostles had come in to sow in a bunch of discord in his ministry

-Every excuse we have builds a stronghold

-What is God's Redemptive solution for Key West?

-God is very unreasonable

-Certainly he expects for us to believe the impossible

-Your circumstance may have changed but God's idea about you hasn’t changed

-The world does not owe you encouragement, and they won’t give it to you

Casting down, vain imagination holding it captive

Today's message focus is hearing the Voice of the Lord.

One scripture may surprise you 

Jn7:7 If anyone seeks to do His will, he will know if the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.

Consider this: If I endeavor to do the will of God I will hear what he is saying to me

If a person has a problem with change, being a Christian is almost impossible

Heb5:14 solid food belongs to the mature, those who are looking for discernment, to those who by good reason train themselves to understand the difference between good and evil

Ps 110 The Lord said to my lord sit at my right hand

Strength is gained when you go through the conflict

Luke 10: Mary and Martha

Martha did not recognize the time or the season

Joshua 1:9 Meditate on the Word of God and you will make your way prosperous

Be strong and courageous

The strength God is talking about is the strength that come from prevailing through problems

Cup becomes a duty or responsibility before the Lord

Ps16:5-6 O Lord you are the portion of my inheritance and of my cup You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen on me

God’s provisions stopped after they crossed back over into the promised land

Eph 1:18 

-In the New Testament prosperity begins from the inside out (vs the outside in) from the Old Testament

Matt 6:33; Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness

-Take on the problem head on and see how much strength you recieve and how it gets solved
