When Jesus speaks he’s not just revealing he’s creating

Any thought process about what I don’t have, don’t allow what God’s wants to happen

Prov22:20

Do not move the ancient landmarks that your fathers have set

When God is be speaking to us he is doing two things:

Revealing truth

Revealing inheritance

Our ears have something to do with what we can contain

For the same measure you use

Whatever measure you use..we set the measure not God

God doesn’t give us information to make us smarter

He doesn’t care how smart you are

He takes the foolish things of this world to confound the wise

Supernatural wisdom is better than hard knocks wisdom

Speak to the situation rather than bang your head against the wall

How God withholds or conceals truth from people

½ and ½. God won’t reveal to those who aren’t making effort to get with Him

Key: How do we break hard ground? ask God for his blessings (rain so you can plow and sow seed)

Seek the Lord for opportunities

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing but glory of kings to reveal things

Did you ever think about God concealing truth from you?

God conceals and reveals according to the condition of our heart 💜 ❤️ 

God gives us an opportunity to pursue him not to condemn us

How do we deny the Holy Spirit? By not declaring his wonderful deeds, not spending time with Him

After his resurrection Jesus appeared to 500 people before his ascension

God wants to bring us to our next

31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle,

but victory rests with the Lord.

We have been born for victory

Therefore we have been born for battle

Deliverance comes from the Lord

Prepare the horse and do not forget the Deliverer

Absalom used horses against David and failed

-Both seem to be measurable

-Duration of Faith

For Peter his duration was short -see Matthew 14:22-36; Mark 6:45-56; John 6:16-24

He did well when his eyes remained on the Lord

Phrases that are indicators for our faith measurement

                 A. Mark 9:23 The man's son who needed healing     

“If you can faith”

                 B. Matt 8:1-4 The Lepers faith

“If you are willing” faith

                 C. Mark 8:22 The Blind man at Bethsaida

“If you touch me” faith

                 D. Matthew 9:20–22: Woman with issue of blood

“If I can touch him” faith

                 E. Matthew 8:5-13 | Luke 7 The Centurion

"Just say the word" faith

                 F. Matt 15 Canaanite/Phoenician Woman -This one everyone should take note

“Overcoming offense” faith -Even dogs eat the crumbs from the table kind of faith

The Phoenician Woman asked and was begging Jesus

Matt 15: 23 But he did not answer her a word.

But her belief, action, right demeanor, tone, and persistent-tenacity got her daughters deliverance from a demon

Pls note: She had to overcome Jesus offense to receive from Him

He called her a dog

She refused to be offended and persisted

She saw Jesus as her last and only hope for the deliverance of her daughter

Maybe we’re not desperate enough (and maybe should be) to receive the things of God? 

-Also note: Jesus healed all 5 levels of faith

-High level of obedience doesn’t mean high faith levels

2Chro 20:20

Jehoshaphat urged the people, "Believe the prophets and you will prosper"

In Hebrew prosper here means to “push forward”

Ezra 6:14

Ezra prophesied and the Elders prospered

Moses: He made known his ways to Moses, and He made His acts known to the children of Israel

-The two co-labored

More notes:

-Fear is misdirected faith

-What you fear is what you worship

-find the areas of fear that are preventing you from extending your faith

Hearing the voice of the Lord

Why didn’t Jesus closest people to him recognize him? Even right after His resurrection?

How God speaks in the moment

How do you recognize His voice speaking to you?

He’ll get our attention with his presence 

Then he prunes us with his word

There’s a time to grow in that moment (for us) after God speaks

Jn17 If anyone will to do my will he will know what my will is

Pr 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal matters

So how do we hear from God

So how do you recognize the presence and voice of God when His presence shows up and how He speaks to you?

Recognize hearing from God

Jesus just feed the 5000

Jesus appeared to His disciples in the midst of a storm

Because of fear they did not recognize Jesus as he approached the ship

Jn20:1-31 Mary Magdalene thought the person she was talking to was the gardener (after His ressurection)

Jn15:15 Now I call you friend..phileos means love

A main key for looking for His presence...Hunger

Hungry enough even though the food isn’t in the form that you like

The Hershey bar melted on your car dashboard example.

Your blessing or provision didn't come in as you expected it

5 examples of where Jesus was not recognized even by his own people after His ressurection

They’re are many things that can only be understood by seeking the presence of God

If anyone who wants to do the will of God?

Why do you speak in parables?

Parables were spoken and written in code

Truth can be hidden from those who have no intention of obeying it

Truth is revealed most often to those who will seek him and obey him

Jn8:18

So pay attention to how you hear. Those who think they do but do not do what I ask, even what they have and what they think they know will be taken away

To those who hear my teachings

As long as we have the desire, he will give us more

Our having revelation depends proportionately with our hunger for it

Stop comparing yourself with yourself or how it used to be
