There was a time in Boston when there weren't too many media platforms capturing the culture within the music scene. Many have came and went, others rebranded themselves, some lost their sense of authenticity, but not many have stayed true and remained focused on the long game. Evolution is a process that will occur in anything that proves to be consistent and we've seen that displayed in the creator of TheMUSEUM TV, the visionary who goes by one very suiting name, Noble! Since 2014, Noble launched "TheMUSEUM TV -- Boston's Premier Vlog Exhibiting the Culture's Stories" and has never looked back while creating timeless moments and also inspiring others to do the same!

A Boston native and a fan of all types of music, Noble witnessed there was a void in Black media out here. Instead of complaining about it, he did something about it and created his own platform. Since then many other brands have been spawned and he himself has upgraded his video blog along the way to keep things fresh. He's also been able to create different streams of income which have come to be from the network he's built over the years and eventually built an ecosystem which has allowed him to be a full-time entrepreneur. One of the best success stories that isn't anywhere close to the finish line, we are more than happy to welcome our brother Noble back to the platform in our current evolved form.  A story that is now nationally known, started in our beloved city of Boston through the optics of the Trap Queen herself, Ayana Bean. If you've seen the BET special "American Gangster: Trap Queens" then you may have heard her name from season 1 as the college admissions advisor who stole multiple 6 figures to fund her lifestyle and invest into other endeavors. What started as a desperate attempt to dig herself out of a hole turned into what would land her in jail. Ayana has a very interesting story and to be honest we may have to have her back on the show to talk more about it. Our hosts all grew up in the music video era. Greats like Hype Williams, Director X, Benny Boom and more have given them and many others within their generation timeless visuals that made classic Hip-Hop/Rap records come alive. As we continue to expand our audience and attempt to capture our music scene within Mass as a whole, it's only right we talk to the ones creating the visuals to OUR classics. Reko got her start creatively as a photographer about 6 years ago a then transitioned to videos 3 years later. We caught on to her from work with some of our favorites like the VB boys and BoriRock. She also was in the building with us at the '21 BMAs as she was nominated for Music Videographer of the year for her work with Neemz and other homegrown stars. While she plays the background as a director, Reko's personality is what draws a lot of people to her and makes her network so valuable. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they host REEKSHOTME and talk about her start within the scene, her being sexually liberated and unapologetically displaying it online, and other current topics like Druski & Benzino; which led into to an interesting back-and forth about Hip-Hop vs the trans community. DJs are the most important part of music and we're always delighted when we get to talk to one who has done a lot for the culture. Black men vs law enforcement is a battle that is generations old and shows very little indication on bridging the gap any time soon. In most cases the biggest gang in the US, which is the police, come out triumphant in any altercation with the Black men they apparently fear so much. In February of '21 another traffic stop that ended with a Black man in jail involved Mattapan's own Sadiddy Dev. Unlike most cases, in just a year later, Dev is out of custody and free of the assault charges the MA State Police tried to pin on him! Welcome home family!

Sadiddy Dev is no stranger to the music scene in Boston although he's spent some gaps of time away from his craft fighting cases. The street stories filled with ambition, pain, and hard hitting punchlines are why we grew to love Dev's style of music. Now that he's home again we're hopeful for a strong push of new content that will contribute to the fast growing scene. When it comes to the Battle Rap world, you'd have to be completely oblivious to what's going on if you've never heard of Chilla Jones! One of the greatest battlers to ever grace a stage is also one of the greatest lyricists to ever come out of the city of Boston; which is often referred to by Chilla as Bosstown! One of the first established names to give us a co-sign and give us one of the most underrated freestyles we've had the chance to house is BACK to the pod, and as always got a fully loaded clip with him!

It's been 86 episodes since Chilla Jones has been on the podcast and a lot has changed on both ends since that initial interaction. Since then he's told us about his musical plans with his brother, Mr. Jones, who is an R&B artist – but he didn't disclose the big plans he had about a Hip-Hop Masterclass he had up his sleeve. Chilla teamed up with Mickey Facts and some other creatives to create Pendulum Ink, which will completely change the face of independent artist development and give up-and-coming artists an opportunity to sharpen their skills at a high level! One of our biggest take-ways from last weeks podcast was when DMal expressed that he enjoys having conversations with interesting people opposed to certain creatives who don't have an engaging story to tell. This sentiment may be one of the reasons why we enjoy talking to the face of the Dirty Hawk imprint, Last Days! The Dorchester-bred artist is back for a 3rd appearance on the show and he came with some new heat for your speakers! 39 weeks have passed since we last spoke to Days and he's come to promote his latest project "Rose Gold Don".

It's no secret that Last Days has built a relationship with Griselda & BSF and that alliance was displayed on the new album with a feature from Benny The Butcher. The 8 track EP consists of catchy hooks and descriptive language that only Last Days could put together to illustrate his life. While this is the newest thing going on with Days, we also discussed more personal topics and even brought him back to space when he was feuding with another heavy Boston name Smoke Bulga. While the friction has blown over the years, this is the first time Last Days went into detail about some of the dealings of the past. When it comes to Black Boston podcasts, there is no way you haven't heard of BNF Podcast. Since its inception in 2016 it quickly became a cult favorite and inevitably disappointed its supporters with its multi-year absence. In 2020 however, Woody brought the podcast back and has since made strides with becoming the most influential Black culture podcast out of Boston! Dmal (Woody) is no stranger to CWTFB Radio as he's been a guest on the platform almost 2 whole years ago on Episode 41. One of our most memorable moments makes a return as Dmal prepares for a very monumental moment in his life.

Woody is no stranger to being vulnerable and sharing very personal parts of his life via social media and his podcast. In fact thats part of what makes people love him as a personality. A couple months back he shared some news with his supporters that he would be having to face some time for something he was recently involved in and shocked a lot with the news. As he prepares to serve his time it's only right that we have a moment with one of our favorites and a pioneer in Black culture podcasts out here.
