It’s always refreshing to talk to an artist who has multiple layers of creativity up their sleeves. When it comes to rappers— a large majority are expected to touch on certain topics and maintain a certain image to make themselves appealing to the masses. This is often particularly true when it comes to the “femcees” but luckily for us in Boston we have a handful of lady lyricists who are breaking the mold; and one of them who stands out amongst many is the Roxbury native, Cakeswagg!
We’ve been following Cakeswagg’s journey since the start of this platform and we have always enjoyed her witty and sharp bars that often came with compelling visuals that highly impressed us given her short time as an artist. She came on the scene in 2018 and quickly grabbed the attention of every and anyone with her pen game. Shes dropped 3 projects—including her latest “The Pencess” w/ DJ WhySham and even had a freestyle series that’s had over 120 weekly installments. Needless to say, this conversation has been LONG OVERDUE!

Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host Cakeswagg in a conversation about her career as an artist, her career as a GHOSTWRITER, more about her & SO MUCH MORE‼️ And of course we couldn’t let her leave without giving us some heat for this week’s #RedCupsAndRap Freestyle! THIS IS DEFINITELY A MUST LISTEN/WATCH PODCAST‼️ TAP IN‼️

Hands down, when it comes to the hottest artists in the city, there is NO WAY you cannot mention 8 Zipp! His energy, his consistency, his leadership and his vibrato are just a few factors that play into him being a factor for the next to blow out of Boston. We have championed the whole Shooterz Muzik team since our earliest days but dating back to episode 6, and then episode 82, we have especially shown our interest in Zipp and his ability to bar up. A lot has happened since the last time he's made an appearance and its time for us to talk about his latest body of work "FN.F12"!

Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as we host the "Life" rapper as we talk about his most recent work, his "Love, Zipp" project, his work with Millyz on "Blanco 4", and SO MUCH MORE! 8 Zipp drops a lot of gems on this one and also talks about what's to come in the near future with producer Hum Beats! Since the beginning of this podcast you’ve seen the name Dun Dealy as a reoccurring guest from Episodes 2, 77, 99, and now 140. Dunny was also a part of the largely spoken about cypher we hosted at Le Trap Couture. Needless to say we’re fans of the quality street music that Dun Dealy has created over the years and we never fail to throw it up for our guy when the opportunity arises. This time we had the Feed The Family boss pull up shortly after the release of his most recent album “10 On A One”. We definitely revere that project as his best body of work to date and had a lot to say about it throughout this episode. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host Dun Dealy during a conversation about his most recent effort, the musical ecosystem his team has built with “Feed The Family”, his history w/ Chizz over the years, and a whole lot of things that we can simply chalk up as “If You Know, You Know”. IF YOU LOVE “10 On A One” AS MUCH AS WE DID THEN YOU’RE GONNA LOVE THIS PODCAST‼️ TAP IN‼️

Most artists have day-to-day managers and its been like that for quite some time now. While it’s not always necessary, it does become very convenient to have somebody who will manage your bookings, studio sessions, and more while you focus on the creative side of things. What makes a manager good at his or her job is variable and sometimes even intangible. Scoobz Frm Boston is one of those managers who’s network and skillset has allowed him to get his artists within some winning circles relatively quickly.

Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they host Scoobz at #eXpozedTVstudios for a special podcast that starts with our hosts talking to the currently incarcerated artist #MizzieCash who’s down with a highly publicized case. We talk to Mizzie about his current mental state, whats next for him and also some insight on other artists on his unit like #7981Kal & #CincinnatiRose ‼️ We spoke to Scoobz Frm Boston about his early start in management & more and even had his newest artist #TeeRichh show off his skills for this week’s #RedCupsAndRap freestyle 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is definitely one of them ones so dont sleep— TAP IN‼️

In the grand scheme of things, Boston has bred more music producers who have either worked with or placed for big name artists than vocal artists. While the internet has its advantages to bridge that gap, the guys behind the actual music tend to become unsung heroes unless their stories are being closely documented. This is why we wanted to take the time to give a Hyde Park native his flowers this week–none other than MITYMAOSE, a guy who is the architect of great sounds and has been working on his craft for over a decade!

Early on in Mity's career he was one of Charlie MaSheen's go-to beat-makers and worked closely with various artists in the Boston area. He quickly took his talents to LA in a pursuit of something bigger and he's definitely found some of what he's been looking for. He's linked with LA based artists who are on their way to stardom, done work for the Kenya Barris/ABC hit "Black-ish" where he produced and wrote a record titled "Vote" which was performed by Jhene Aiko! He also earned a Grammy nomination for his work on Drake's album "Scorpion"– more specifically the record March 14! If we could have had MITYMAOSE on the show earlier we definitely would have but this sit down was inevitable. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they reconnect with their bro Mity and talk about his career in LA, their past endeavors, whats next, and SO MUCH MORE! This was one of those timeless moments so don't sleep! TAP IN!!!!!

Hailing from the South End area of Boston is the mellow flowing, thought provoking, and street referencing lyricist Shaykh Hanif! We first heard of Hanif years before starting the podcast, when he rapped under the moniker of “Nino Brown”—all while he was in prison serving a 10yr sentence 😳. Since his release he’s rebranded himself and  teamed up with some other notable MCs from the scene while working on his solo career as well. If you recall, we talked to the “No Mistaking That” artist previously on the Feed The Family episode just before the release of that project and we expressed how we instantly took a liking to his music. The second time Shaykh Hanif made an appearance on the pod during the New Year‘s episode he put the bug in our ear to create a rating system for EPs & LPs which we now package as #RedCupsAndRatings !

This time we brought ‘Nif back to the couch for a solo sit down and to talk about his latest project “Pyrex Visionary“ amongst other things. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shanté, & KASH as they host Shaykh Hanif in a conversation about his music, Islamic religion, his collaborations on his album including OT The Real, Last Days & Benny The Butcher to name a few & SO MUCH MORE‼️ It’s been a few weeks since we had a full host crew so you know we were kickin that Sh*t! Dont miss out on this convo & an incredible #RedCupsAndRap freestyle from Shaykh Hanif‼️ TAP IN‼️

Like many metropolitan cities throughout the country, Hartford, Connecticut has a drastic duality to its identity. While some from affluent spaces view the 18 square mile city as the nation’s insurance capital, there is a grungier side to Hartford—the side that if you’re not from there, you don’t go there. Fuego Base, one of the newest signees to Benny The Butcher’s BSF Records is from that side of town. Within the past 3 years the lyrical and very street oriented MC has really made a name for himself on a national level and with his newly found platform, the game is his for the taking. With a slew of EPs and mixtapes including his most recent “Say Dat Again” and an assortment of freestyles on various platforms, Fuego Base has confidently proved that he can rap at a high level with some of the best of them—which is why we took a liking to his music, and now his story. We’ve been lucky enough to get Base to pull up on us as Charlie MaSheen & KASH hosts the “Tell My Momma Im a Rapper” creator.

Join us as we learn more about Fuego Base’s side of Hartford and what his city is like, his relationship with Benny The Butcher, tour life with Boston’s own Last Days, what true success looks like for him, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ We also were lucky enough to get some sharp and hard hitting bars for this weeks #RedCupsAndRap freestyle! THE ENERGY IN THE STUDIO WAS SO AMAZING AS THERE WAS LOVE IN THE BUILDING AND THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT TALK WITH A GREAT STORYTELLER.  TAP IN‼️‼️‼️

When it comes to the music industry theres so many moving parts on what makes a successful artist. We often focus so much on the artistry and the actual art that we seldom hear about the guys playing the background. Coming from North Attleboro is Logan Forbes, the owner of Untitled Export Management and Untitled Export Studios. He got his start in the industry as a top photographer in the area and eventually became the day to day manager for #FatBoySSE which ultimately helped him plant his feet into the industry and help many with the the business side of music. We got the chance to sit down with Logan after an #eXpozedTV meet-and-greet networking event and hear his story. Also helping Charlie out with this interview is one of the newest faces in Boston-area podcasting , #GinaRodriguez of #HiddemGemswithGina ! This was a very insightful and informative conversation and anybody on the come up should catch the gems that were dropped! ARTISTS PLEASE LISTEN/WATCH UNTIL THE END — IT WILL BE WELL WORTH IT‼️ TAP IN‼️
