In a Hip-Hop climate where there are many artists who strive to be the party starters, and most recently the drillers, there is still a space for the dark, gloomy, and lyrically inclined boom-bap Rap. Some of the names leading the charge are Buffalo's Griselda Records, Syracuse's Stove God Cooks, and North Philly's own, OT The Real! While he spent a few days in Boston recently, we got a chance to have a sit down with OT and talk heavily about his most recent mixtape "Broken Glass", hosted exclusively by the legend DJ Green Lantern!
While it may not be important to most, OT The Real being originally from Fitchburg, MA is a big deal for the music scene out here. We see what he's been able to accomplish within the last 4 years alone and we watch his moves in the game as a proud distant relative. "Millyz & Friends" is a concert series that Millyz has been putting on for years now and is what introduced us to OT's gritty street rap and kept us tapped in. As his career progressed a few industry names like Meek Mill, Beanie Sigel, and even Jadakiss gave the North Philly rapper a cosign which has taken his platform to new heights. Join us this week as Charlie MaSheen & KASH welcomes our last guest of 2021 and talk to OT The Real about "Broken Glass", his story, white privilege, and SO MUCH MORE! Be sure to tap in to his #RedCupsAndRap freestyle available on our Youtube Channel! TAP IN!!! SHOUT OUT TO DJ E DUBBLE FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN!

The world is beginning to know more about Cambridge, MA–and its not the typical story of the prestigious colleges. The Rap scene in CMB is bubbling heavy and being led by Millyz but this recent and previous collaborator has made a name for himself long ago and doesn't show any indication of taking his foot off the gas! Fasscoupe has hit the Boston/MA Rap scene in his teenage years as one of the youngest and most capable and has always delivered quality content. His reach which comes from his work ethic and willingness to put up big money for features has opened up many doors for him and now he's opening up more for him and his peers.
Nearly 10 years ago we heard the "Fass!" tag and were instantly intrigued by Fasscoupe. The "Traffic" artist always had a very clean and professional approach to his marketing and makes industry ready music with high energy and witty lyrics. He's given us classic projects like "Percocets & Pounds", "Hood Mascot" and most recently a collaborative effort with another rapper Bones titled "Blue & Red". We're so glad to finally have the opportunity to sit with Fasscoupe and have him tell us a little bit about his story. Join Charlie MaSheen, Shanelle Shante, & KASH as we talk to Fasscoupe about his work along with his special guest Edianny Rodrigues who briefly gave us some gems about her services tailored to credit repair. We end his one out with a very special #BlueCupsAndBars / #RedCupsAndRap freestyle accompanied by Blu Drilla and Bones. TAP IN!!!

For a platform who prides ourselves in consistency and quality content, Episode 100 was just another episode for us. What we can say is THANK YOU ALL FOR THE CONTINUED SUPPORT AND WE LOVE YOU ALL!.
With all that being said, one of the most unique and consistent names in Boston Rap since 2012 has to be the prolific OG Swaggerdick! Since our inception we've wanted to sit down with OG but felt that timing played a factor on when we did it so we are glad that we can share the excitement of this interview with the milestone of episode 100! Music, culture, video directing, and timeless history is all that was poured into this episode and of course we ended it with a very OG Swaggeridick-esque #RedCupsAndRap Freestyle! The generations old saying "There's Strength in Numbers" never ceases to hold true and that is something that is displayed amongst these 5 artists we've had the pleasure of sitting down with for this weeks episode. While every person brings a lot to the table, they clean it up and always put it together nicely, often referred to as Hooterville. Dun Dealy & Top Hooter (P89) are names that many within the Boston Rap scene have been hearing for over a decade but within recent years they've teamed up with new names like in their camp like BoriRock and with this man power, it will take them to new heights. While CAEV was in the building solely for moral support of his close friends and frequent collaborators, Shaykh Hanif and the 3 previously mentioned pulled up to talk about their next collaborative project: Feed The Family!
Within the past year alone, our hometown sensation and larger-than-life personality, BoriRock has dropped 5 projects and created a culture around his brand with collaborations with many artists, like Reem Skully & Van Buren Records to name a couple. This momentum that he's created isn't something he's kept to himself, as he's worked closely with his team and released many videos, sparking energy amongst them all. Shaykh Hanif is the only name we actually haven't gotten a chance to talk to at all but he's also hit the scene and shaking it up with visuals and singles, even with the MA born, Philly repping lyricist, OT The Real! Needless to say that with the combination of street culture, music, merch (Fishscale, Hooterville, etc.), and work ethic, these guys have a very interesting story to tell. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they welcome Shaykh Hanif, BoriRock, Dun Dealy, Top Hooter (P89), & CAEV to the pod as we dive into the music, BoriRock messing up at the cypher, the merch, the January 7th release "FEED THE FAMILY" (all produced by Temendiss) and SO MUCH MORE!

Hailing from the infamous and talent-saturated area of Harbor Point is one of the newer names being discussed over the past few years and known by simply "Wave"! While some call him Wave Capone, the music is always quality and comes from a real place. We've been paying attention to the artist since the release of his "Capone" album which also was re-released as a Deluxe version and the sounds will force you to dig deep into her story and eager to hear more!
Since his first project "Help Me Help You", Wave has asserted himself as someone to keep an eye out for. Prior to the release of his first project, the rapper was wrongfully accused of shooting and murdering a gas station clerk in Dorchester–which he thankfully moved past since there was no evidence to the claim and he is just another Black man the system tried to take advantage of. Shaking off the weight of yesterday, Wave remained consistent with work and visuals which leads to his most resent effort "Misunderstood". On his latest project he allowed himself to get more personal, and exposing his life past the streets. We really enjoyed this sit down that ended in a very memorable #RedCupsAndRap freestyle! Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they host Wave (Capone) on this podcast interview talking about his music, recently becoming a father, where he's from, and SO MUCH MORE!!! TAP IN!!!

CWTFB Radio is a podcast made for artists by former artists so we have a certain level of relatability to some of the struggles music creatives face on the ground level. Week in and week out we talk to some interesting talents from all over the NE area (mostly Mass) with the intent of showcasing their art as a premier example of what to expect from this market. However, we have 3 voices steering this ship with raw talent and strong opinions so it's only right we take a step away from the guests every now and then and TALK OUR SH*T!!!
This week your favorite Boston-based podcast hosts, Charlie MaSheen, KASH, & Shanelle Shanté sit down for a CWTFB Radio-style podcast and also one for the books! We (well, mostly Chizz 😅) stop trying to be polite and give some purely unadulterated opinions on a number of topics! Join us as we dive in on things like the Summer Walker sophomore effort, being nominated for the Boston Music Awards (BMAs) "Music Podcast/Radio Show of the Year" and addressing different opinions on it, another podcast that keeps talking about their award from 2 years ago (ItsLitBoston), artists' over entitlement on being booked as a guest for our show, AND SO MUCH MORE! When it is all said and done, Boston's music scene will never be able to tell its story properly without the Black culture epicenter of the city, Roxbury. Whether it's the time Malcolm X spent in the city during his wilder days, being the birthplace of Gang Starr's Guru, or the former home of Funky Fresh Records, Roxbury has always been known for housing some larger-than-life personalities which went on to touch many lives in so many different ways. That same sentiment is what hold true for the Hip-Hop Artist/tastemaker, Maye Star! We had the opportunity for him to pull up on us at eXpozedTV Studios for a very genuine sit down!
May Star is no new-comer to this music scene as he stated he's approaching his 10th year in. If you remember when the social media platform "Vine" was at it's peak, then you might've came across some of his 6 second videos which helped him amass a large online presence. Over the years Maye Star has consistently pumped out singles which were often paired with visuals, earning him multiple 6 figure views on YouTube. Being the son of former Boston sportscaster "Coach" Willie Maye, there's no surprise that the "God of Groove" knows how to shake a room and leave a lasting impression on others. In 2020, Star dropped 2 projects, "Super Moon" which was long over due and "MAYEDAY 2020" which was almost a part 2 to his 2012 effort. Join us this week as we talk about the artist's musical journey, his gap in body's of work until recently, some of his personal life and SO MUCH MORE! This is also the first time we have all 3 hosts interviewing a guest so we shared a whole lotta laughs!
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MAYE STAR's WORK ON ALL DSPs INCLUDING HIS 2 LATEST SINGLES "STARFACE" & "SPIN DA BLOCK" (ft. Sliccbae)

Mass has been the birth place of a lot of music pioneers– within Rap and other genres. However what tends to happen based on the outside world's perception of the commonwealth is all of these creatives get thrown into the same pot and lead the world to believe they are all from Boston. While the capital would like to take the credit for all of the greatness coming out of the Bay State, its not factual and this week we would like to give flowers to one of the greats from Lawrence, MA: none other than Termanology!!!
Termanology got his first national attention in 2003 with the release of his project "Hood Politics" and quickly began to gain traction year over year with his sharp lyrics and insane work ethic. The song that changed things for him nationally and internationally is a DJ Premier produced record titled "Watch How It Go Down" which earned him the respect from a lot of names in the industry and allowed him to start making a living from music. Flash forward from then, the Puerto Rican-American MC has pumped out a total of 43 projects (30 Albums & 13 Mixtapes), appeared on a plethora of Hip-Hop greats projects, and also solidified himself as one of the nicest in the game. He also is a host on Showoff Radio on Shade45 with Statik Selectah and has dropped multiple projects with him under the name of their duo "1982". It has been an absolute pleasure being able to sit down with Termanology and hear pieces of his story from the horses mouth! Join Charlie MaSheen & Shanelle Shante as they welcome Termanology and talk about a wide range of topics such as his music career, his brand #GoodDadGang, his love for Lawrence and starting the 978 movement, his industry relationships and SO MUCH MORE!!! This is by far one of our best interviews yet and we don't want ya'll to miss any of it!!! TAP IN!!!

If you're a regular supporter of this podcast then you'll know how much Charlie MaSheen has mentioned the name Lee Boy and his lyrical ability. If you're just becoming acquainted to this MA music scene you may not be privy to the name but if you knew anything about Boston and the music scene prior to 2015 then you would know that Life 4 Life Records/Phastlife/Dukati Gang has been a driving force in Hip-Hop and the Lee Brothers steered that vehicle into an internationally known name. 2 of said brothers, Lee Boy and Mumz, have joined us this week along with their long time collaborator Norfsyde Slee, and the newest rapper on their team, Lil Roc: the son of their late brother Roc Dukati. This was something that's been in the works for a while now to say the least.
While Mumz and Norfsyde Slee never really took a break from music, Lee Boy separated himself from the scene while becoming a father within the past few years and still contributed to the culture while fully supporting his big brother Smoke Bulga, who recently signed a deal with Rick Ross's MMG imprint. A recent single by Mumz featuring Lee Boy titled "Letter 2 You" seemingly took Lee Boy out of retirement and led up to this sit down which should come as a breath of fresh air to all the Boston Hip-Hop enthusiasts. Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they host Dukati Gang and go over some of the history of the team, the legacy of Roc Dukati and what that means for his son's rap career, whats next for all the artists, AND SO MUCH MORE! DON'T FORGOT TO TAP IN WITH AN INCREDIBLE #RedCupsAndRap FREESTYLE TO CLOSE IT OUT!!!

Boston is the home of many unsung heroes who have went on to accomplish amazing things all while flying under the radar. Creatively, we are a melting pot of genius and culture, which leads us to this weeks guest. With a musical career of over 20 years and voice that would shake a room and an even more impressive catalogue, Amandi Music makes his way to our couch at eXpozed TV Studios to tell no L.I.E.S. with Bellez & Shanelle Shante!
After a brief hiatus from the music scene, Amandi made his return in high fashion with a whole new look and most importantly more of the music that made his fans fall in love with him. He's packed out the courtyard of the MFA, returned to the Hard Rock Cafe with a listening party and dropped his most recent effort and most polished work: "Lies We Tell (The Audiobook On L.I.E.S.)"! The 10 track album is a beautifully put together playlist of sounds and what he described as the return of storytelling in R&B. Having thoroughly enjoyed the project, Shanelle took the initiative to set up this intimate talk about the music behind Amandi. Join us as we dive into the artist's journey in songwriting for the likes of SWV, Bobby Valentino, Dannity Kane, Boston's own Masspike Miles–and thats only to name a few, his weight loss journey, why he feels strongly about being an artists opposed to just a songwriter, and MUCH MUCH MORE! DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT CONVERSATION!
