Being able to move around in many different crowds isn't something that every artist can do. It's only a recipe for someone who has full confidence in themselves and know what they bring to the table. Skill, experience, finesse and a little bit of grit; all words dropped in the pot to come up with the Boston LEGEND Lisa Bello! Hailing from Hyde Park, and moving all around the city throughout her career has made her a household name in the city. Her consistency and willingness to get uncomfortable has kept her relevant and constantly evolving.

With the recent release of her self titled project, "Lisa Bello", the R&B song-writer pulls up to Detailz to have a convo with Bellez & Charlie MaSheen! We covered a whole lot on this episode and shared A LOT of laughs. The trio covered Lisa Bello's music, a piece of her story, her past teaching career, raising a Black son and confronting White privilege and so much more! In what Lisa Bello described as the most fun interview she's ever been a part of, she wrapped up the conversation with a smooth sang/rapped #RedCupsAndRnB / #RedCupsAndRap freestyle!!! Don't miss out on one of the most hilariously informative and touching talks we've had thus far!

It's easy to look clean when you haven't gotten your hands dirty from doing any work, right? The real challenge is to continuously take short after short and still come out of the carnage like you never stopped shining! That's why it was imperative that we start the year with a story of triumph from none other than the Mattapan native– R&B artist, Triy! Happy New Year!

With a deep-rooted musical background, Triy stepped into the Boston music scene with a lot of steam back in 2015 with co-signs from artists who a lot of people would consider some of MA's favorites. His melodic sound, raw lyrics, and good ear for collaboration instantly made him somebody to check for. His success on SoundCloud made him the talk of the town although he had very little visuals with his lead singles. His promo campaign "Triy Season" is something that could be remembered throughout many circles and is eventually what he named his latest effort released in December 2020. "Triy Season: The Unexpected Journey" is basically an autobiography of what makes this young man.

Join Charlie MaSheen & KASH as they have this very transparent sit-down with Triy as he breaks down his musical story, becoming a father, his every day battle with Multiple Sclerosis and how that's been his biggest obstacle with creating, feuds with other artists, and SO MUCH MORE!

It has often been said that pain is a universal language. Everybody respects pain because we all feel it but not many can express it universally. Trottie Y Gizzle is a young rap artist from Jamaica Plain with a common theme of pain in his music and has been stealing the attention of Hip-Hop lovers throughout the city of Boston and beyond!

At a mere 22yrs old you may ask what he knows about pain; but coming from the infamous Heath St projects, life will teach you a thing or two very fast. Teaming up with life-long friends Ricky Mazarati & Trottie Moula, Y Gizzle has had a good run with a slew of street anthems and sometimes very problematic lyrics. However, when talking to the young rappers you can tell they mean every single word.

Join us in this sit-down with Trottie Gang as they go through their story with music, the inception of their rap group, project life, the break down of certain songs and where the "name dropping" comes from, & so much more!

Consistency, longevity, experience, pain, success, HIGH LEVEL RAP, and a long list of other things; good and bad–all come together to describe Cambridge-bred MC, Millyz! As our first guest on Youtube Live, we are honored to have Millyz pull up to Detailz with his team and give us a piece of his heart and creativity in this 1-on-1 with Charlie MaSheen! On the first talk which dates back to our 19th episode, we spoke about Millyz's signing to Jadakiss's So Raspy imprint. since then so much has happened.

Having just released his latest and greatest body of work, "Blanco III", Millyz stops by and and talks about the creative process of the body of work, how long it took to create and more like another record with Jim Jones. When we get to the topic of the Boston/MA Rap scene, the CMB rapper drops a lot of heartfelt and extremely transparent moments in his life that Chizz did not expect at all. Millyz also speaks on why he doesn't like being compared to other White rappers, remembrance of his close friend and Boston legend Roc Dukati, & so much more!

As the last repeat guest of 2020, we welcome our guy "Teflon Hoot" aka BoriRock back to CWTFB Radio! We started the year off with BoriRock & Dun Dealy and we felt it was only right to have another sit down with Bori after the release of his latest project "Fishscale"!

BoriRock originally caught the attention of Charlie MaSheen when he released "Cardboard Hearts", a soulfully sampled and hard-hitting street inspired single featuring Dunny and produced by Tremediss. Since 2019 he's been releasing a lot of singles, often paired with a music video and built a demand for a project. His biggest attention grabber was "Moshpit", which is a drill record featuring NYC based rapper Mr. Swipey. The video for that had a great response, even with no thanks to the featured artist.

Unfortunately in September, BoriRock was arrested and didn't get to see the reaction people had for "Fishscale". The project displayed the rapper's descriptive storytelling and also a sentimental side of him. Fishscale had a great flow from start to finish and we're glad we got to hear Bori talk about the creation of the piece of work. Join the fellas as Chizz & Bori talk Boston music, influences, "Yins" & much more! With this being our shortest podcast with a guest to date, we're glad BoriRock left us a very memorable #RedCupsAndRap Freestyle to wrap it up!!!

As 2020 comes to an end with only 5 weeks remaining, we take it back to week 6 of this podcast with the Roxbury-based Hip-Hop powerhouse, Shooterz Muzik!!! This time around the guest cast looks a little different as Chilla lets his youngest and very talented artists take the wheel and drive the boat. 8 Zipp couldn't make it since he was out of town and our guy KT Cuatro is currently behind the walls– FREE THAT MAN! One thing that makes Shooterz Muzik so special is that they don't lack great representation on multiple facets so help us welcome Sidestreet Capo & $hayBand$ to CWTFB Radio!!!

Since a young bull, Sidestreet Capo has been a part of the team's cast but never made a serious push for the music until earlier this year when he got released from jail and hit the scene with his fresh-out rap-singing single "Better Now". Since then he's been working closely with label-mates 8 Zipp & KT Cuatro with an array of singles including "More Than Muzik" & "Trapp'D" which have done more than 100k views on Youtube! Capo also released his hard-hitting drill fan favorite "Let 'Em" which also has amassed over 100k views! His controversial, blatant and flagrant lyrics have made him a talk of the town and his lyrical ability has gotten him respect from many crowds as he gets ready to release his solo project, ironically titled "No Disrespect".

$hayBand$ made her debut on Shooterz Muzik as the only female artist and what seemed like a very much needed touch of femininity to the male-led label. Her first single "Distant" hit a lot of us by surprise as she displayed vocal ability and gave us a teenage love story– as a Roxbury native would. Just like her big brothers, she's no stranger to slick-talking and witty street banter. $hayBand$ is a big fan of drill beats as well so we're very excited to see what her and Capo have in store for us!

Join us as the two artist have a sit-down with Charlie MaSheen and talk about their stories, their team and upcoming moves, their merch campaign and much much more. The duo also blesses us with their individual #RedCupsAndRap freestyles which had the whole Detailz shop jumpin! JUST TAP IN & LISTEN!!!

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT SIDESTREET CAPO's & $HAYBAND$ FULL CATALOG OF MUSIC ON YOUTUBE AND ALL DSPs – NEW SINGLE "SLIDE ON ME" BY $HAYBAND$ ON THE WAY AND PROJECT "NO DISRESPECT" BY SIDESTREET CAPO ON THE WAY!!!!

What does Ice Cube, Masta Killa, Lloyd Banks, Lauryn Hill, and Boston-bred MC Prince Rich all have in common? They have always been arguably, in their own rights the sharpest pen in their original crews while not being the face of the brand. While thats been part of the story for Prince Rich, he never let that stop him from delivery quality bars every single trip! As one of the artists in Boston who's had over a decade long run in Hip-Hop, Rich got to tell us a lot about him as a solo artist in this one on one sit-down with Charlie MaSheen.

Originally known as Young Rich, Rich got his start in music with Dirty Hawks Entertainment, led by the Boston staple Last Days, and hit the ground running in his teenage years. On this episode, he covers a lot about his story, how he linked up with producer and frequent collaborator D Spellz, recently going on tour with Griselda Records, and much more. The rapper even briefly spoke about how some street influenced decisions barred his from collaborating with other artists he felt he would mesh well with. The fellas bring it in for a landing with a very polished and smooth #RedCupsAndRap freestyle– on a D Spellz beat!

Back to CWTFB Radio for the first time is Boston-based (Dorchester to be exact) 90's and trap influenced rapper, Buff Da God! As our first guest at our new location, we are are very pleased to bring back a familiar voice to the pod, but this time with our co-host Tiny Bellez tag-teaming with Charlie MaSheen for a more in depth interview.

Buff Da God has been busy all 2020 with an array of singles and videos for tracks like "Bet", a collaborated EP simply titled "$uckaFree" which is the name of his duo with Riqo $uav, and his latest drop– a single titled "The Best", also with Riqo $uav. In fact, besides having a great relationship with Chizz, him coming back to the show is actually a result of him showing up and showing out at a G.O.O.D. Music Showcase hosted by our big brother DJ Alcide! So of course with everything going on all year, we slowed things downed and got very personal with Buff and went into topics like his family life, his music and his story, DAYSTAR, and a long and drawn out–not to mention heavily alcohol influenced discussion on drill music and the Boston music scene. Chizz also goes off on a rant about culture vultures and misrepresenting Boston as a Hip-Hop scene!

Join Tiny, Chizz & Buff Da God as they share a lot of laughs and a lot of opinions on this episode which is sure to be a fan favorite!

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT BUFF DA GOD's LATEST VIDEO "BET" ON YOUTUBE AND STREAM HIS LATEST SINGLE "THE BEST" ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS!
