6,000 bicyclists are participating in a 20-mile ride on the car-free streets of Philadelphia. Rolling road closures and bus detours are expected throughout the morning and into the afternoon in places like Center City, Old City, South Philly, along the parkway and river drives.

Philadelphia’s District Attorney seemed to point the blame at judges for not previously keeping the man charged with kidnapping Kada Scott behind bars. 23-year-old Scott has been missing for nearly two weeks now — and authorities are still searching for her. KYW Crime and Justice reporter Kristen Johanson has the story.

Cheltenham High School has temporarily suspended its football season amid allegations of hazing.

In an email to the Cheltenham community, Superintendent Brian Scriven says the district received an anonymous tip about the alleged hazing on Friday, the same day the team was scheduled to play against Harry S. Truman High.

Dr. Scriven says he recognizes the decision "deeply affects" the students and families, but that "the allegations deserve and require this immediate and decisive action."

The superintendent says the district plans to provide an update about the investigation early next week.

It's unclear what the alleged hazing consists of. Hazing can mean initiating a new team member with a beating or some form of ridicule and humiliation.
