About a week before the Day of Love a.k.a Valentine’s Day, at 4 am, we dive into the topic of self-love for an episode dedicated to all the lover girls, lover boys, and lover people. Let’s deep dive into the mantra or “affirmation”, I declared just weeks before my birthday on someone’s Instagram post: (I may be alone, but) “I am never without love.” Post-breakup after a long term relationship, I really thought I’d never open up to love again but I quickly realized in the following months up until my epiphany that I was looking at love wrong thanks to society, the patriarchy, and the overload of Valentine’s Day promotion that will soon hit our devices at hyper speed. This isn’t gender-specific. Whether you’re a lover girl, lover boy, or lover person, this episode was created to help you feel seen, heard, and understood because you love unconditionally, just like I do.
