The two first-round draft picks on the Kings and 49ers are in two completely different positions. One is expected to come in, contribute, help improve a horrible defense, and be a part of a franchise dying to get to the postseason. The other may very well be asked to take his team to a Super Bowl. Managing expectations for rookies are tough. For Davion, he’s not expected to save the franchise, which is something that can’t be said for a lot of Kings rookies.
