Cyborgs just wanna have fun

I often think about interstellar space exploration, inspired by many games, novels, movies etc.

In the this case, I was inspired by a couple of old Ares Magazine board games from the early 80s - "Voyage Of The B.S.M Pandora" and "Wreck Of The B.S.M Pandora". B.S.M = Biological Survey Mission.

In one you travel to and explore alien worlds and try to capture biological specimens. In the other those specimens (some quite deadly) escape from their pods on board your spaceship, and your crew struggle to contain the situation using ad-hoc weapons.

As I created this track it felt like a lament, and a reminder that a divided house will fall.

This is one of my Apple loop compositions.

I created this track whilst on holiday in New Zealand. For me, the connection with nature brings me inner peace which I tried to capture in this track.

For a touch of other worldliness, I've used a NASA JPL image of the pre-dawn on Mars:

I created this track on the transalpine railway journey from Greymouth to Christchurch on the South Island in New Zealand.

I hope you like it.

I started this track on the flight over to Auckland from Melbourne, and finished it in Rotorua.

I hope you enjoy it.

A slightly spacey feel to this otherwise very acoustic track. I hope you like it.

Just three Logic Pro X synths used to create this track. I found it quite uplifting, so I hope you do too.
