I often think about interstellar space exploration, inspired by many games, novels, movies etc.

In the this case, I was inspired by a couple of old Ares Magazine board games from the early 80s - "Voyage Of The B.S.M Pandora" and "Wreck Of The B.S.M Pandora". B.S.M = Biological Survey Mission.

In one you travel to and explore alien worlds and try to capture biological specimens. In the other those specimens (some quite deadly) escape from their pods on board your spaceship, and your crew struggle to contain the situation using ad-hoc weapons.

As I created this track it felt like a lament, and a reminder that a divided house will fall.

I created this track whilst on holiday in New Zealand. For me, the connection with nature brings me inner peace which I tried to capture in this track.

I created this track on the transalpine railway journey from Greymouth to Christchurch on the South Island in New Zealand.
