The Istari (Quenya for "wise ones") are the Wizards of Tolkien's Middle Earth.

The Istari from J.R.R Tolkien's legendarium included the "Blue Wizards" Alatar and Pallando, as well as the more familiar Radagast The Brown, Saruman The White and Gandalf The Grey.

I'll leave you to discover the fate of each Istari on your own.

A short orchestral fantasy I created using Apple loops in Logic Pro X.

Inspired by the movie "Alita: Battle Angel". Share in Alita's journey from innocent newly reconstructed cyborg to unstoppable battle angel with vengeance on her mind.

The backing track was created using Blocs Wave, with the guitar lead created in ThumbJam with the 'Middle Atmosphere' amp from AmpKit, and sound FX from the BBC.

The title is a quote from Frank Herbert's classic science-fiction novel "Dune", in which Paul Atreides must overcome excruciating pain by controlling the fear in his mind.

In this track I've then combined that idea with fantasy and Dantean religious concepts about Hell and the Abyss. It's the dark soundscape to imagined fear.

All synths played by me in Logic Pro X.

Sometimes it feels good to struggle against your (imaginary) enemies...

I thought I'd try for some synth/guitar dark magic, with synths played manually on the iTuttle synth.

A very dark track, which made me think of the works of H.P. Lovecraft and his associate Cthulhu mythos writers which inspired the spoken vocal.
