George Orwell, 1984

Optimism in a dystopian world.

One of my Apple loop mixes / compositions.

A mix of glitch and dubstep created in Logic Pro X.

An old track I'd forgotten to upload!

A dark electronic piece mostly created in Blocs Wave with additional synths from Addictive Synth and GarageBand.

3 Aliens Walk Into A Bar by dacca

Imagine a barren planet seeded with life from Earth - this is the premise for this track. And another. And another!

Thanks to the Drake equation we like to think of life - even intelligent life - as common throughout the universe. Maybe it is.

But as our species, and our robotic/cybernetic/transhuman/A.I. partners, spread to the stars we will seed barren planets with life from our beautiful Earth and help green the universe.

I'd been watching my daughter play "The Last of Us II" on PS4, a fungal zombie apocalypse survival horror game. The music is not what you might expect if you're not familiar with the franchise. It features a lot of hauntingly beautiful acoustic instruments played by Argentine Gustavo Alfredo Santaolalla - I'm a fan!

Here's a link to a great mini concert you can watch - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNUfqEzGrz4

Anyway, this is a blues rock track inspired by that music and the beauty that can be found in decay. Last of Us doesn't use blues music, but this is what I felt like creating.

It's another of my Apple loop compositions / mixes.

This track started as a bit of an analog synth doodle and developed into a tribute to one of the pioneers of early synthesiser music and the iconic Moog synth.
