A possible site for the battle of Mons Graupius (83 AD) between the Romans and Picts in North East Scotland.

I've tried to capture a sense of the ancient history of the landscape, I hope you like it. Mostly composed of Apple loops, plus a few background synths, using Logic Pro X.

With the COVID 19 pandemic taking its toll around the world, images of plague doctors of old appear in social media even so often. It's these images that have inspired this dark ambient piece.

With the coronavirus pandemic I keep hearing the term "self isolation" as applied to those testing positive for the virus going into self imposed quarantine.

Well, this is my somewhat dark dubstep / metal (or "dub metal", as I term it) track based on that thought. In some ways - to me - the track transcends the original meaning of the term to any form of self isolation.

Backing track created via Novation LaunchPad with a couple of additional Addictive Synth synthesisers played by me.

Inspired by the epic worldcraft of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic "Dune".
