Are you looking for silicone ice cube trays? We need some new ice cube trays so we got on Amazon and found some silicone ice cube trays to make some ice cubes with. We have a couple of other ice cube trays, but they are starting to get some wear and tear on them and it’s hard to get the ice out of the tray once the water has frozen. Hopefully these silicone ones will be an upgrade.

In this video I do an unboxing of the ice cube trays that my wife ended up buying on Amazon to replace our old ones. We take a look at the size of these silicone ice cube trays and compare it to the plastic ice cube trays that we had previously.

Are you looking to go tubing the San Marcos River? We are in San Marcos, TX today and we are trying to figure out which park is the better park to go to so that we can let out kids play in the water on a hot Texas day. We started at San Marcos City Park and we noticed that this is the top of the river and you can get a tube and float down to Rio Vista Park in San Marcos.

Our problem is that we have a 1 year old with us, so we can’t tube down the river and we found out that the river banks at City Park are a lot deeper than the banks and rocks that are at Rio Vista Park in San Marcos, so we ended up at Rio Vista Park.

In this video I will give you a tour and my thoughts about Rio Vista Park on the San Marcos River in San Marcos, TX, and I discuss how to can tube the San Marcos River. There are a lot of rocks in the area for you to sit on and jump off of and wade in the water of the river.

Hey Dads,
While on our road trip, we stopped in Katy, TX to have dinner at the Black Bear Diner. I had never heard of Black Bear Diner until we were looking for a delicious restaurant in Texas and Krista (my wife) found this restaurant to eat at on Google Maps.

In this video I go through the menu with you, we talk about what we ordered and how we liked it, and then I also show you the gift shop area and all of the bears that they have around this diner. It was a fun place to eat at and is a very family friendly restaurant.

Are you looking for the best mesh wifi router for your internet coverage at your house? I have been researching mesh wifi routers, and I finally decided to choose what I think would be the best mesh wifi router for our house.

In this video I do a setup of the Google Nest WiFi Router which claims to get me 2200 square feet of coverage. I go through using the Google Home app on my Google Pixel 2 to setup the Google Nest router and Google Nest Access Points to extend my wifi coverage. Our house is 1800 sq feet but we do have a big backyard and I wanted to be able to cover out backyard so with this mesh router system, I think that I will be able to get the wifi coverage that I’m looking for.

Are you looking for the best toe shoes? I know that you have seen them before. It’s the shoes that look like a glove for your feet. I picked up a pair of these Vibram Five Fingers Shoes because my brother and a friend of mine have a pair and they look really interesting, so I wanted to check them out.

I’m very used to wearing my Birkenstock sandals most of the time, but days whenever it’s really wet outside and rainy, I can’t wear my Birkenstocks and I wanted something that I could get wet in but was also very functional. I believe that these toe shoes will fit great for what I want.

In this video I do an instructional / how to video of the Vibram Five Fingers V-Aqua toe shoes for how to fit them onto your feet since they fit more like a glove than they do an actual shoe. Think of it like a glove for your feet. Also I go over the suggestions for trainsitioning to Vibram FiveFingers pamphlet that comes with these toe shoes because there is a suggested transitioning period that you can follow.

Hey Dads,
Today we are on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, TX. We just finished having lunch at one of the restaurants down at the end of the Riverwalk, and we are walking back to our AirBNB. We went to the Riverwalk during COVID-19, so there was hardly anyone there, which was pretty weird. The tour boats were on giving tours on the San Antonio River and most of it was shut down.

Hey Dads,
Have you seen the Giant Goya Beans Can near Katy, TX? Our family is on a road trip through Texas and I have been using the site RoadsideAmerica.com to find fun roadside attractions to stop at along the way. While going from Houston, TX to San Antonio, TX along I-10, we found the Giant Goya Beans Can which acts as a security station for all of the trucks going in and out of the Goya Beans factory.

A Goya Beans can, maybe 20 feet tall, serves as the security guard shack at a Goya Bean factory entrance. Here are directions to get there: I-10 exit 734. Turn north onto Woods Rd. Drive to the stop sign, turn right, then immediately turn left to cross the train tracks. Turn right again onto Goya Rd. Drive a quarter-mile. You’ll see the bean can on the left. It’s address is: 30602 Goya Rd, Brookshire, TX.

Hey Dads,
Are you looking to go tubing the San Marcos River? We are in San Marcos, TX today and we are trying to figure out which park is the better park to go to so that we can let out kids play in the water on a hot Texas day. We started at San Marcos City Park and we noticed that this is the top of the river and you can get a tube and float down to Rio Vista Park in San Marcos.

Our problem is that we have a 1 year old with us, so we can’t tube down the river and we found out that the river banks at City Park are a lot deeper than the banks and rocks that are at Rio Vista Park in San Marcos, so we ended up at Rio Vista Park, which I will show you in the next video.
