We are at the Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio, TX, and our family just got done exploring the cave. I figured that I would give you a little walk around of everything that they have here at Natural Bridge Caverns because it’s not only a big cave, but there is an entire area of fun things to do while you’re waiting for your turn in the cave or for after the cave.

Hey Dads,
We found Mr. Pearl, the Giant Squirrel in Cedar Creek, TX at the Berdoll Pecan Co. I found this roadside attraction on RoadsideAmerica.com and I didn’t realize that they also have a pecan pie vending machine and an entire store and gift shop that is very Texas themed and pecan themed! It was a lot of fun to go inside the Berdoll store and see everything that they have to offer.

In this video we look at Ms. Pearl, the Giant Squirrel, and we get up close and personal with her, and then we walk up to the front of the store and find the pecan pie vending machine. After looking at what is available at the vending machine, I take you inside the store and we look at all of the things that they have for sale there.

Are you looking for the best pecan snack? We were on a road trip and we stopped at the 14 foot giant squirrel statue in Cedar Creek, TX. While we were there we noticed that there is a store adjacent to the Mr. Pearl, the Giant Squirrel, so we decided to go inside and check it out.

The owner asked my wife about what I do since I was making a video and she gifted up a couple of bags of pecans that they sell at Berdoll Pecans. She gave us a bag of Texas Snack Mix, which includes golden pecan halves, roasted and salted pecans, Jalapeno flavored pecans, and a Texas Mesquite BBQ Flavor pecans.

Hey Dads,
We are on a road trip through Texas and we are in San Antonio today. We were looking for a fun park for our kids to go to in downtown San Antonio, and we heard that Yanaguana Park was THE PARK to go to while you are in San Antonio. So we got up and out of the door and when we got to the park, everything was roped off.

Apparently due to COVID-19, city officials due not want anyone playing on the playground equipment at Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair. The only thing that we could play with was the foosball tables and there are a few outdoor art exhibits. Also the mosaic benches were not roped off, so you could sit down if you wanted to.

In this video I give you a tour of Yanaguana Park at Hemisfair in San Antonio and I show you everything that is at this park. I guess we will have to make another trip back here when the Coronavirus is gone so that we can have some fun playing on this very unique, modern playground.

Are you looking for an African Safari Experience in Texas? We took our kids to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in Texas near San Antonio, TX and after doing the drive-through safari, I turned on the camera to do this short review video of our experience at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.

In this video I am walking around the Walkabout area of the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch near the entrance and I go through the booklet that they gave us that highlights each animal on the safari. We went during the trying times, so we were not able to get any animal food during our tour, which I recommend that you do because that is what makes this place so fun.

Are you looking for the best mesh wifi router for your internet coverage at your house? I have been researching mesh wifi routers, and I finally decided to choose what I think would be the best mesh wifi router for our house.

In this video I do a unboxing of the Google Nest WiFi Router which claims to get me 2200 square feet of coverage. Our house is 1800 sq feet but we do have a big backyard and I wanted to be able to cover out backyard so with this mesh router system, I think that I will be able to get the wifi coverage that I’m looking for.

We started letting our kids cut with food knives when they were about 5-6 years old. We went camping one day and my son, Jacques got really interested in making his own spears, and one of our subscribers, Mike Vance, sent us a pocketknife for Jacques to use for his spears.
