Peter Burns is a studio host for SEC Network, where he regularly hosts the show SEC Now. In addition to his studio role on SEC Network, Burns has provided analysis as a course reporter on SEC Network’s live coverage of various sporting events, contributing to studio programming across all ESPN networks, including The Paul Finebaum Show, College Football Live and SportsCenter, and recently serving as a commentator on PGA Championship coverage on ESPN+. Prior to joining SEC Network he was the host of The Press Box on Mile High Sports Radio based in Denver, which was syndicated on several stations across the region and simulcast through a partnership with the Denver Post. Before moving to Denver, he co-hosted Fox Fantasy Freaks on Fox Sports Radio for five years beginning in 2008, which grew into a three-hour year-round program that was syndicated in over 100 cities nationwide. One thing I appreciate most about Peter is his raw humility, which contrasts his younger self who he isn't shy to say at times wasn't necessarily known for this quality. Despite being a king in the world of sports, you can't deny the humility and gratitude that shines through when you speak with Peter. He's an objective and rational thinker, gifted communicator, and has never shied away from taking ownership in all areas of his life. But above it all, Peter is a phenomenal man, husband, and father, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to chat with him.
