Daddio

Bill Lake joins the show to talk about his first album Unpleasant Surprises (out January 28th!)

https://www.billlakecomedy.com/

We talk about how Bill developed his style after trying on a few different styles of comedy first, and how dark topics fit or don't fit into otherwise clean comedy.

If you like a lot of well written tight jokes, then you're going to love Unpleasant Surprises.

The O.G. Bad Boy of Comedy himself Ricky Glore got his account banned on TikTok and doesn't seem that broken up about it. Glen found out when he tried to send Ricky a video about farts.

Remember a few weeks ago when we missed an episode because Glen was on a boat and Riverside didn't like that?

Well he's back on land on Riverside finally cooperated so here that episode is.

What do they talk about? Who can say. It was weeks ago. Probably Batman.

Glen's back from sea! Ricky's back to set!

We recap Glen's recent two weeks on a cruise and Ricky talks about filming his new movie Casually Cool! I think they hinted at Glen's surprise appearance in the film. Where's he pop up? You'll have to watch the movie to find out!

And it seems now that Glen's back on land, it IS possible to recover our lost episode that Riverside tried to eat, so we'll hit you with that next week while Ricky wraps production and Glen tries to learn The Charleston on piano or whatever dumb nonsense he's got going.

Last week's episode was eaten by Riverside and our only hope of recovering it is when Glen gets back on land with decent internet.

This week we've got Eric M Hunter. What's the M stand for? Magneto probably.

The Daddios have been at this for a full calendar year.

What does that mean? Will we change anything going forward?

Will we actually come up with a premise?

Will Glen stop telling people not to listen to the show?

Will we watch Pee-Wee's Christmas Special again and keep talking about Batman too much?

Who knows!

The Daddios talk about wasting valuable time in Nebraska as they break story for an 8-issue comics run where Batman fights Billy Madison.

Jim Lee get at us.

The Daddios welcome fellow Daddio Jake Ruble to the show to talk about working with Jay Mewes, breaking from clean comedy, and how to switch seemlessly between a computer and a phone on a Google Meet call.

Check out Jake's website to learn more about where to find him online and on stage! https://jakeruble.com/

The Daddios are back from their Nebraska trip!

Help back Ricky's movies!

A bit late today because the Daddios have been driving to Nebraska, but we made it to Norfolk and it's still Friday baby, so enjoy this week's episode!

We talk about Batman a lot again. I don't remember why. I've driving 12 hours a day for 2 days. Unstoppable!

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO #1 SUPERFAN/NEPHEW ANTHONY
