Ricky prepares to celebrate a birthday and Glen prepares to celebrate an autism diagnosis.
The Daddios met Tanya Vora (https://www.threads.com/@totalllytanya) in person for the first time at the Columbus show earlier this month, but she and Glen have been online mutuals (a word Ricky hates for some reason) for a while now after bumping into each other on Threads.
It's a relatively short episode since Ricky had a meeting at his kid's school and Glen had his autism assessment redux right after recording. (Results in a few weeks, and there's no way he doesn't talk about.)
We talk about the Columbus comedy scene, creating content (another word Ricky hates, but the reasons are pretty clear) that you're interest in creating, and more.
We also talked about hot Lenny Bruce was, so if you want to participate in the Spotify poll, do that wherever that happens. I have the option to create polls when doing these notes, but truly don't know where they go after that.
Anyway, Tanya's great!
Ricky had a hot date and Glen's in Rochester so we recorded a little late this week. We talk our recent Columbus trip and how Glen Tickle Tries to Be a Person's been going as part of the ESL Rochester Fringe Festival.
This episode, like Glen's ADHD medication, has a delayed release.
The Daddios chat with Nerd Nite Big Boss Matt Wasowski about how he started Nerd Nite. What Nerd Nite is (and isn't) and Glen floats the idea that it's rude to comment on social media.
Jim Tews joins the Daddios to talk about his special Jim Tews With Pictures, adding art to comedy, and Cleveland.

This week the Daddios talk Frankenstein, being sick of doing poorly run shows, the complicated state of the comedy industry, and Glen talks about his return to hosting Nerd Nite Lehigh Valley and doing comedy in a science center.
Glen's back from his latest cruise gig that had him sailing directly towards Hurricane Erin. Ricky signs some blu-rays as Sweet Meats heads to a horror con. The boys discuss song licensing and the best ways to use a limited budget.
There's also some good and actionable parenting advice in this. I know. We were surprised too.
It's our post-Joel recap from last week's live. Glen's in the ocean. Ricky's cleaning up his act. Let's party.
The Daddios welcome their pal Joel Byars to the show. Joel's the host of the Hot Breath podcast, and a guy who's come up pretty frequently in conversation on the show before.
You guys are never going to believe this but we talk to him about clean comedy.
Sorry we're a day late. Minor family emergency and then a day of driving to Ohio. We still love you and it's not your fault.
