On this episode we welcome our newest dad to date, David.
We talk about the joys of early fatherhood, how David balanced unpredictable work with a due date looming, pets vs kids and late night improv! Talking about dad stuff got in the way of talking about podcasts, film and tv shows. Begrudgingly, I used the edit to keep us on the matter at hand.
Happy fathering!

On this episode we welcome our most experienced dad to date, my father-in-law, John. 5 children from 2 marriages and now a whole host of grandchildren, John has remained strong and stoic for everyone around him.
For the curious, you may notice John has a speech impediment, but don't let that fool you, John's as sharp as a tack with a wealth of life experience to boot! I struck gold for in-laws and I am incredibly grateful that he was willing to come on and share his wise ways.

Simon was incredibly open and shared his experience of postnatal depression. This sounds sad, it wasn't. Listen in and have a chuckle!

One of the hardest episodes to edit yet. Simon and I chatted for nearly 2 hours, and it flew by, so editing it down to around 1 hour was hard!

Micky and I discuss playtime, and making the most of it while you can, even if it's hard not to be lazy. We also chat about giving your child the room and freedom to find out who they are, and giving them a safe space to do it.

Everybody needs good neighbours! Luckily, I have great neighbours, and my next door neighbour, Paul, was willing to give us his insights on fatherhood so far.
We nattered for nearly 2 hours, so it was really tough getting this down to under an hour. Get ready for some solid sarcasm, dad jokes and a visit from social services.

Better L8 than never!!! This episode was really tough to edit, as the conversation came easy and we covered a lot of ground. The end result is an episode much longer than usual, so get it on and get about your day.
We discuss renting a SNES, YouTube and corporal punishment.

Pulling a favour from a colleague and 1 half of The Do Dads (link to their show here:https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-do-dads/id1487381735).
We discuss children's books, loitering and much more.
Please let me know how this sounds compared to previous episodes. Is it loud enough? I have "warmed" up the voice tracks this week, wha'da ya think?

Another family member joins the podcast! This time they are much further in to fatherhood, and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Meet my step something in law, twice removed, 3rd in line to the thrown, cousin's dog's owner. I jest. Meet Martin.
Apologies for the low hum feedback in this episode, I believe this was caused by my charging cable to the MacBook.

Once a fortnight I interview a different Dad. We talk about our biggest parental wins and lowest fatherly fails. There will be hypocritical advice, honesty and few dad jokes too.
Are you a good father? Well you're seeking out dad podcasts, so give yourself a break. You're doing just fine ๐ Also if you know a fatherly figure that should be on the podcast, email [email protected]
