SON ch 22
This chapter is so jam-packed with different storylines, that we had no clue what to name it! There's the Rede, and Diana's new little gathering of witches that will help her with her magic. There's Jack Blackfriers, and everything that goes with taking him on as an additional household member. There's Father Hubbard; he's come a-callin' and Diana and Matthew remain quite wary of him. There's some science, between Gregor Mendel and Mary Sidney, we wind up like the kids with blank stares on their faces mentioned in this chapter! There's also a huge loss. OH! And there is real-life breaking news in the middle of the episode! Please enjoy -- prepare to take it in shifts. It's a long one!

Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"

SON ch 21
Join us as we meet the wise Goody Alsop. She reveals the whole story behind Diana Bishop's erratic powers to her, Matthew Clairmont (Roydon/de Clermont . . . etc.), Susanna Norman, and to us! After careful negotiation, and some protestation from both Susanna and Matthew, Goody Alsop agrees to be Diana's teacher, no matter what! YAY!
We also finally get to tell you what actually happened with last week's episode (Jerry!), and there will be changes on how to get into our Facebook group. If you are interested, make sure you fill out form to join! Link below). We had a great time doing this "take 2 of Take 45" -- we must've, because it was two hours of raw recording! Through the magic of editing, it's been cut down to 1.5 hrs (a little better!). Please enjoy!

Jerry is at it again ...
It's ok, because we always have a plan "B" and this is it.
Enjoy this encore airing of one of our earliest episodes, chosen because this is where we found our groove! This is where we started having fun with podcasting.
P.S. The sound is crap (what the heck did we know about audio production?!), we were still self-conscious while recording, and we were still playing it relatively "safe" at this point in our podcasting lives. You can be sure, though, that this was the episode/moment in time where we decided we are just going to do this thing and have a lot of fun with it!

Time's Convert Review
It's been a couple of weeks since Time's Convert has come out, and we figured it was time to discuss this book. This is a general overview; chapters discussion deep-dives are to come once we get through the trilogy! WARNING: SPOILERS live on this episode. If you've not read this book yet, pushing "play" will be at your own risk. Enjoy!

SON ch 20
This is where it all began! We imagine the fandom is currently in the midst of reading Time's Convert (released on the 18th of September 2018). A good part of that story covers Marcus and Phoebe, and today we are returning to the foundation of that relationship. The place: Sotheby's. The time: 2010 (according to book canon). Marcus Whitmore entered Phoebe Taylor's life, and changed it forever! Since we didn't get to follow the whole journey on the way to Time's Convert, we are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it in the very beginning. Join us as we see the third anomaly crop up into the present. Observe young Phoebe's introduction to the de Clermonts, and listen as we describe how this chapter changed our initial perception of Dr. Whitmore, full stop. #ForeverChanged

SON ch 19
A visit with Mary, Hilliard miniatures, and a teen witch! So much to unpack in this chapter! We come to it with new eyes because we find surprising parallels, unexpected character traits, and a key phrase we've never noticed before. This is the chapter where Diana Bishop faces the fact that she knows nothing about being a witch. Seems neither did we! Stay tuned for our last thoughts; you are invited to our red carpet party -- Daemon style!

SON ch 18
We meet Andrew Hubbard, and according to Gallowglass and Hancock, we probably should've met him much earlier. Our thoughts on him range from a creepy cult leader, to an altruistic ruler of the land of misfit creatures; we discuss this and how Diana Bishop is the one who has to fix this mess that Matthew Clairmont has created for her (again!). We forgive you, Matthew, but boy do you irritate us sometimes! Stay tuned for our reaction to the ADOW TV trailer, and news that was new to us at the time of recording. Long episode, but worth it to stick with us until the end!

Join us as we follow Monsieur Pierre Cornu as he chases his errant charge, Diana Bishop, all over London! She's shopping for ink, sealing wax, paper, soap, some books -- oh, and did we mention a witch?
Stay tuned for later in the episode where we chat with Cait, of the podcast Chamomile and Clove!
