It's almost time for us to start covering Season/Series 2 of A Discovery of Witches!
What can you expect? What do we think? Can we give you a little taste? Why, yes we can, and amazingly we didn't spoil (much)!
In the meantime, here is our opening giveaway for 2021: visit.DaemonsDomain.com/Welcome2021
We'll talk to you all in On Saturday the night of the 9th of January/Sunday the morning of the 10th of January (depending on your time zone!), and we'll start our dive into Season/Series 2!
xo,
~The Daemons
NOTE : In all the excitement you have undoubtedly seen (or will see in the future) screen caps from upcoming episodes disguised as promotion. Because we want to preserve the experience (which is a freaking awesome one), we won't be releasing any visuals on any of our platforms -- including episode show notes -- (aside from Bad Wolf and their media channels) until the episode premieres.

Happy Holidays!
Well, the title says it all! We do some Q&A with some of our audience. We give away some prizes. We bitch a little. We laugh a lot! This episode's cauldron has all sorts of things brewing, with a sprinkle of All Souls magic as a topping. Enjoy, and we'll talk to you in 2021 (Goddess willing!)
As this is a long episode, we suggest pairing it with last minute shopping trips, your bevvie of choice, and gift-wrapping.
Seriously, though -- have a joyous holiday season, and let's hope 2021 does indeed DO BETTER. You'll hear from us next year, with our thoughts on Season 2 of A Discovery of Witches! Yay!

* Our episode titles are a loving tribute to the show "Friends" just 'cause we love Friends and - let's face it - it's easier! Here's how one of the show creators explains their reasoning:
Jeff Greenstein: "When Marta & David & Jeff & I did 'Dream On', we used to spend a lot of time thinking about titles, because they were on-screen at the top of each episode. On "Friends", we decided that was a waste of time. We figured, why not name each episode after the thing that people will ostensibly be talking about around the water-cooler the next day?"Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
It's time for Take 80 -- an "On the Tens" episode. This time, we decided to put our wishes out into the universe for Season 3 of A Discovery of Witches. Yes, we are jumping ahead a bit, but it's filming now, so why not? :)

TBOL ch 11
Now that Diana, Matthew, Sarah, and Fernando have settled into life in the House, a comfortable routine has been established. Through a little Fernado story-time, we learn a little more about Fernando's life with Hugh and Gallowglass. We observe how Sarah's garden plays a major role in her work as a witch. We witness what an advocate the House is for Sarah's well being (it has a funny way of showing it!) All appears to be well, until Diana discovers the crossroads on her aunt's property. Voices of the dead, the pull of the moon, and the dark powers that beckon her -- all of these things frighten Diana to her core. The real scary part is the epiphany that she actually wants the knowledge/power, and believes that Matthew will hate her for it. And there is that little secret about a bargain made with the Goddess two books ago . . .

TBOL ch 10
To put it simply, we LOVE this chapter. This is the first time we get a glimpse of Sarah and Diana actually working together on magic. It was all so peaceful until the radio decided to suggest a playlist familiar to most of us born prior to 1985, and -- now -- GenZ, who through TikTok, have found an entirely new catalog of music to explore. Enjoy the episode, guys!

TBOL Ch 9
After everyone's apparent survival of the --now famous-- Lugnasidah party, the local coven witches who have been invited into Matthew and Diana's lives, suddenly get way more involved than anyone intended! This was the result of Diana's inadvertent burst of magic used to save young Grace's life. Suddenly, everything that Diana was saving to reveal only to Sarah is out in the open TO EVERYONE! Will the coven pass the test? Stay tuned!

TBOL Ch 8
Instead of beating himself up, Matthew has taken to beating posts into the ground with the guise of repairing Sarah's failing fence. Well, we all know that our Matthew's got some issues! And if he doesn't beat himself up enough, Fernando is there to assist. Fernando knows him pretty well though, so he suggests Matthew take up the science-y stuff concerning his and Diana's genetics to occupy his mind. Miriam breaks in to inject her own 2 cents (she speaks for us!), and this chapter winds down with a visit from "bulldozer" Vivian Harrison. We enjoyed recording this chapter, we hope you enjoy listening to it! Also, in our Save it For the Show segment there's some TV News; we do a bit of whiplash time-walking to make sure you are up to date with the latest and greatest (TRAILER! YAY!)

TBOL ch 7
It's Sol in Leo! We're back in Madison, but things aren't quite correct. Matthew's moody, Sarah's broody, and it seems it's up to Diana to get this place back into working order. We meet the locals (witches) at the Cost Cutter, and Smitty at the Post Office! This a short chapter, but it starts us on the path to the larger things to come.
