God hates liars!  There is no profit in lying and God will punish all liars!  When we lie, we try God's patience.  We must get our tongues in proper order.  Be truthful and honor God! Continuing to test God by being deceitful can have deadly consequences.

There are times we complain and not realize our complaining is an indictment against God.  We are often guilty of testing His patience, intelligence, and ability.  When we do this we are putting ourselves at risk of being dismissed from His promises!

Having faith in God comes with great gains!  Trusting God, no matter the situation, works in favor of those who believe in Him with their whole heart!  Sometimes, we will be hit with disturbing news.  It is during these times that we must hold on to our faith!  If you keep your mind on the Lord, He will keep you in perfect peace!

Thanksgiving is truly more than a holiday.  It involves more than time off from work, eating lots of food, and gathering with family.  Yes, we are happy to be able to do those things, but Thanksgiving is much more.  We need to know that Thanksgiving is God's idea and His will for our lives.  Hope this episode provides some inspiration to your day as you reflect and remember God is good and His mercy is everlasting!

We find in this episode Jesus' dependence and unity with the Father!  This connection is vital in the success of His ministry.  Jesus shows us His work is at the guidance and direction of the Father!  And this provides an example for us, too!  As Jesus said in John 15, "apart from Him we can do nothing."

Do you believe Jesus can do anything?  I do.  Yet, I read in John 5:19 and 30 that Jesus said, "By myself I can do nothing."  Can you believe that!  Why is it Jesus made this statement?  Let's peer into the passage so that we can gain insight.

Power can be intoxicating.  We must be careful not to allow power to control us.  It is more important to know what force is driving the power you possess.  Are you being driven by evil or by good.  This episode will show that there really is a difference in power!  Real and TRUE power comes from God!  Let's see what happened with Simon.

It's been a long journey, but what God promised is being fulfilled. Although the promise may seem long, don't give up on it.  Keep believing!  God will bring it to pass.

God still has His eyes upon you even when you've made bad decisions.  He steps in and intervenes to keep us from going deeper into trouble or sin.  Today's episode shows how God delivered David from a difficult situation and how He allowed him to recover all he lost!  This is the same God today!

Sometimes when your back is up against the wall you make ill-advised decisions.  The good news is although we mess up God is still able to make good out of it.
