In this episode we will see the reunion of Joseph with his family.  It is important to note that Joseph does not reciprocate the brothers' treatment toward them.  Instead, he shows them kindness and love.  On this journey of life we experience all types of hurts and pains.  The beauty of healing is that those pains will not prevent us from doing good even to those who have harmed us.  

Sometimes dreams can be  forgotten due to the difficulties we sometimes experience.  Even though we've forgotten, God hasn't.  He has a way of reminding us of the dreams He has given.  In this episode we will see one of Joseph's dreams come to pass.  What do you notice about Joseph's demeanor toward his brothers?  Would you have acted the same?

God never forgets His promises or His plans!  Joseph had been falsely accused and placed in prison for a crime he did not commit.  The cupbearer was supposed to tell the Pharaoh about Joseph but he did not.  Continued disappointments can be devastating, but know God is always present.  He sees and knows everything!  His plans cannot be thwarted.  He can get your name to the king!  You just need to be ready when you're called.

Despite being falsely accused and placed in prison, God's favor is still with Joseph.  Even in this less desirable place Joseph's star rises and catches the attention of the Warden. He is elevated to being in charge of the prisoners and everything that happens in the prison.  Joseph's integrity and faith is on display even though things are not going the way he'd like. 

Integrity is an admirable quality especially when one can maintain it in even the most tempting situations.  Joseph experienced an extreme challenge in his master's house.  Despite the temptation he maintained his integrity.  Sometimes when you are honorable it appears that your accusers gain the upper hand.  Remain faithful!  God sees and knows all.

The road to destiny isn't always paved with easiness.  Sometimes the road is met with delays, disappointments, distractions, etc. So often  we know the dream and have faith that it will happen, but we don't always know the details to get us to them.  The important thing is how will we respond to the delays and disappointments to our destiny.  Let's look to Joseph and see what lessons we can gain from his experience.
